“Just voted in Macomb County, MI. Huge turn out. Lots of Reagan Dems here.”
God that is great news. A lot of my relatives are in Cass County and they are saying that almost all 107 of them are voting McCain — that hasn’t happened since they voted for Reagan the first time. These are life long Union Dems...but, obie scares them to death. I have been trying to get a feel for Michigan and which way it was going to go this year with all the trouble with the governor and the detroit mayor and all...if the state might go red.
I HTMLd it that way.
I’m in the NW Burbs of Chicago. Polls opened at 6 am. I got there at 6:00 Line was long.
there are restrictions outside of polling places.
If she can be heard inside the polling place then that is a violation.
(ie unions can’t set up megaphone trucks outside of polling places)
report the noise to your supervisor.
Good for you! This Georgia Peach just voted McCain/Palin at a local church. The turn out for McCain is looking REALLY GOOD! Praise our sweet Lord Jesus!
Yard signs in my neighborhood favor McCain 15/1. We took my husbands bike for a ride Sunday. We decided to count signs. 15 McCain signs and 1 Obama. The neighborhood where we voted-No obama signs at all-All McCain. The neighborhood where I go for Bible study are All McCain signs except 1 obama. Georgia looking Really Good for McCain/Palin!
Thank you for the advice...not sure they can hear her inside, but she sure is making her opinion known loud and clear on the outside...pissing me off big time!...I may find someone to ask if what she is doing is legal...grrrrrrrrrr
Louisville, KY checking in!
Hit the polling station at 0700. KY-3rd District, 126th precint, currently held by John Yarmuth the Usurper. Missus and I scoped out the polling place as we voted. One ballot taker, and one Diebold - the poll worker explained when asked that it was for the illiterate voters...
Line was short, but moved slowly; the poll workers were VERY DILIGENT about ID checks. One older worker (possibly a veteran) confided that there were a MASS of black voters he had never seen before. And that was since 0600. Either an influx of first-time ACORN voters, or bussed in from other places...
It’s begun.
And in CA, ballots are available in every language known to man. (Lived there once...briefly)
My husband just voted in rural Northern Georgia. Parking was a mess but the lines went fast took 45 minutes to vote, if I remember correctly they have a bunch of booths more so than some of the cities I have lived in.
The yard signs around here are about 20 to 1 McCain!
When will they end for goodness sake?
Maybe if I stood up......
I’m in Wake County and I think they have to be at least 50 ft. from the entrance. I don’t think there is anything about decibel levels...
My dear hubby is in line now waiting to vote in urban
Cobb county. He called friends this morning to make
sure they got up and went to vote. I absentee voted
last week, due to surgery.
her audio reaching INTO the restricted area IS a violation.
if you need to call the GOP club and let them know about the violation.
if need email
it is their voting fraud hotline.
Wait - Apple didn't announce any new products today! Though I do know some User Group members who stand in line every Tuesday morning, just in case.
I was #11 at a poll in the Lehigh Valley, PA.
The line was long, very long. I got there at 6:40 and by 7:00 I would venture that already 140 people were in line.
Gonna be a HUGE turnout today. I am not necessarily a believer that a huge turnout benefits Obama. If all of the “bitter clingers” as he calls them come out, McCain will win IMO.
Who’s going to count the votes on the practice machine?
In Ct., I don't know if that's good.
My mother and brother in law just voted. We are in a heavy republican area.
Lots of people in line. Alot of them are my neighbors which I know are McCain
supporters. I am leaving now to pick up a elderly lady that needs a ride to vote.
there is audio restrictions.
you can’t sneak around sign rules by using megaphones.
