I ‘think’ that this Thanksgiving, we are all going to have a lot to Thank God for.

My point-by-point response
WHY IS OBAMA EVEN GETTING HIGH 40s SUPPORT?
1. The youth vote has been the same as 2004. NO bump there.
DISAGREE: The Obama GOTV operation is significantly better than Kerry’s plus he’s got the cool factor.
2. I can’t imagine seniors voting for Senor Obama, especially after he floods the doctors with 45 million new health insured
PARTLY DISAGREE: Seniors are concerned about privatization of Social Security and McCain’s cuts to Medicare. However, this demographic is one of Mac’s strongest.
3. The Jewish American vote for Obama HAS to be less than what Kerry got. No matter how radical a Democrat you are, you owe a religious duty to the land God gave to you. These are the same people that purchased Israel bonds. Some (a decent minority) of them will definitely not vote for an avowed anti Israeli
DISAGREE: Most Jews are liberal; and they know Obama will support Israel.
4. Hispanics in my opinion will not go for Obama (as they went for Kerry) as they have seen what Chavista politicians have done to their old countries. Do not underestimate the Hispanics. They may look like they are one issue voters (Immigration). But they are not stupid. They can recognize a dictator when they see one
DISAGREE: Hispanics don’t like the Republican Party’s anti-immigration stance.
5. Middle and Upper Middle Class Whites: With Obama OPENLY threatening to raise their taxes, they would have to be insane to vote for him
DISAGREE: Obama will not raise most of their taxes; higher incomes correlate with higher education levels. Educated whites prefer Obama.
6. Evangelicals: This one really astounds me. How an evangelical can or would vote for a guy that is FOR Partial Birth Abortion is beyond me
DISAGREE: I believe Evangelicals are voting McCain.
7. Asian Americans. Mostly business people and mostly very economics savvy. Hard to imagine a majority of them voting for a Socialist
DISAGREE: See reference to the Republican party anti-immigration stance.
8. Married White Women. I can’t imagine a mom who has a 2 year old kid, trusting the future of this country to a man, who ADMIRES the Soviet Union and Cuba.
DISAGREE: Women tend to go Democratic and then don’t care who Obama admires. BTW - he has never said he admires the USSR or Cuba.
It’s the world. Just keep looking up.

This is exactly what the liberal moonbats said after the 2004 election. It wasn't that the Democrat candidate stunk up the joint, it was those damn ignorant voters!
If Obama wins, there will lots of Freepers selling the same line, and they will be every bit as wrong.
The only thing that keeps me sane is my collection of singing potatoes.

I want to know why my 20 something, Catholic, pro choice, pro small government friend is not only pro Obama, but scared to death of Sarah Palin.
No, we are not wrong to say that Americans who vote for a guy because they think his socialist plan is grand and that he will wipe away their problems are DUMB.
Every election brings us further and further away from the constitution.
I have an answer for you. “The world is” not “going insane.” “Convincing political speech” being issued through the media is insane. And remember that the content from media is sponsored. The content is more bizarre, because the minds paying for it are more anxious.
Biden’s and Powell’s mentions of the “crisis” are only leaks about a decided plan. Obama’s mention of a “civilian national security force” is a leak about a plan that’s already being implemented and built upon.
We have a general choice between stopping military buildups in enemy countries or trying to keep freight fuel prices down for imports by appeasing enemies.
