You mean Steven Tyler?
Anyway, I know Kid Rock and Ted Nugent are Republicans. Do you know of any other rock-’n’-rollers supporting the McCain/Palin ticket?
Now THAT was funny!
I still don’t get the slammin this guy did you read the whole post, the majority of it you would never in a million years hear out of the mouth of a democrat or even left repub/ moderate, only one statement in the whole thing that you’re basing your view on that one qualifier. But like a lot of conservatives this guy probably is sick of gw bush’s spending, keeping his veto pen in a lock box, and his freakout on this bailout. I know thats how I feel, but if I were to write to a certain audience that i wanted to hear what I had to say and didn’t want to just get them mad then I would be vague to get them to listen and figure it out for themselves all I know is this post sounds like the guy is for: 1. small government 2. gun rights 3.low taxes 4. pro life 5. supports the war 6. can’t stand anything about obama. The guy sounds conservative to me, maybe leaning a bit libertarian at most
Yes, Tyler. Toby Keith is not a rocker (well, some of his songs are) and he’s voting Republican.
THIS IS A GREAT THREAD! So you think Joe Perry got Steven Tyler to vote McCain/Palin? I always liked Joe Perry as a guitarist, great sneer and ability. And what more can you say about the Ramones? They rule!
Joe Perry. That voice. Where’d he go?
I know many punk fans who are hard core Republicans, even if they don't know it, but many do. The young man at a store I frequent plays in a punk band and has worked to raise money for candidates. The negative stereotype many Americans seem to have of the Republicans comes from the hard work of our MSM who routinely use the word as a pejorative and deters many who think and speak and vote on issues as Republicans from actually becoming Republicans. And feeling (at first) as though they have to apologize for registering as one. Till they actually get it that this is the party that allows more freedoms and keeps government from becoming our nanny.
