i could go on, but you get the point. all that matters to them is securing power at all costs Did I disagree with that? I don't think so. I just said that we should not adopt their tactics and methods.
Such tactics do not sway those who also do not share their ideology. Rather they generate sympathy for those they are ostensibly directed against. There is an essential asymmetry here, and this is one aspect of it. What works against us, when employed by them, will not necessarily work against them if employed by our side.
