At the community college I attend here in Tidewater VA. I have seen more McCain stickers.
Well, I think it has a conservative thread to it.
Walter Williams, the economist and one of my favorite Limbaugh sit-ins, is on the faculty there. But let’s face it, it’s still academia.
I had thought that VA Tech was conservative, but then I checked out some of the stuff that that one faculty member and author, Nikki Giovanni, has out there and it’s black liberation stuff.
You would think a school like that could do better, but that’s how it works with the libs “hatin’ on America” and teaching our kids in college.
Hopefully, such professors are few and far between.
Maybe some Pats and Hokies know for sure.

I can’t thank you enough for that kind comment. I get a lot of abuse from many Freepers for simply living up here in Massachusetts, as if I were responsible for POS politicians like Barney Frank, John Kerry and Ted Kennedy.
The truth is, I know a fair number of conservatives up here, but it is like a brick in the Grand Canyon. I think a lot of Massachusetts voters are not dyed-in-the-wool moonbats (though there are PLENTY of them up here) but are simply ignorarant. I heard LTCOL Russell (running against Murtha) make a backhanded reference to politicians like Murtha who get every bridge, overpass, highway, school, recreation center and public facility named after them. They get this in-your-face name recognition, and many of the sheeple respond (sadly) to it.
They don’t have the mental capacity, energy or the inclination to evaluate the issues, and make up their minds when they get in the voting booth.
As for the bumper stickers...I gave my conservative boss one in 2003 for Bush/Cheney and his car was vandalized. He lived in an area that had been taken over by liberals, homosexuals and was gentrified, but they not only vandalized his car, they left a hateful handwritten message on his windshield where they snapped them off.
I say screw them. If they vandalize my car, I will get a sign for the roof rack of my vehicle that says “MY CAR WAS VANDALIZED BY INTOLERANT LIBERALS”.
I will do it.
I do believe one of those McCain cars was ours.

The Law School’s pretty conservative...but that’s in the Arlington campus.
