"Given our understanding that Mr. Wurzelbacher had publicly indicated that he had the means to purchase a substantial business enterprise, ODJFS, consistent with past departmental practice, checked confidential databases ," she wrote. "Not surprisingly, when a person behind in child support payments or receiving public assistance is receiving significant media attention which suggests that the person appears to have available financial resources, the Department risks justifiable criticism if it fails to take note and respond," Jones-Kelley wrote.
My kid could lie better than this hack.

I’m surprised the DNC operatives haven’t fraudulently obtained Joe’s credit report.
“Look! He was late on a $2.97 newspaper bill in 1989!”

I’m sure she achieved her position solely on merit and that affirmative action had NOTHING to do with it.

Just to clarify here, she was not the employee who was fired, but the case is under investigation.
Clearly, there is NO reason for ANY state employee doing this to “Joe the Plumber” at this time.
Thank God the GOP controls both houses of the Ohio Legislature.

I hope he sues the state and local authorities that allowed this and that he goes after the reporters that paid for it.

Why does Helen Jones-Kelley still have a job?
Ok, dumb question.
We know why.

“Wurzelbacher said yesterday he has contacted a lawyer, but has not decided whether to file lawsuits against those who rummaged through his records.”
I hope he sues the bastards from here to kingdom come.
Our side has got to start playing smash mouth AT ALL TIMES.
If we have learned nothing else from this election, let us at least have learned this.

The administration of Democrat Gov. Ted Strickland has said the information was not improperly shared and that there were no political motives behind the checks. Is Ted Strickland really as stupid as this declaration makes him appear to be?

"'Given our understanding that Mr. Wurzelbacher had publicly indicated that he had the means to purchase a substantial business enterprise, ODJFS, consistent with past departmental practice, checked confidential databases ," she wrote.'" My fellow Ohioan, Joe the Plumber, stated no such thing. He stated that he hoped to the business only, not that he had the means to do it.
