Mr. McCain up by 7.

Nobama sinking fast. Nobama can’t buy enough MD 20-20 to win. Plans riots in phone booth with his three supporters.

Check out the article...When Nader and Barr are factored in the candidates are still running “about” even. Nader gets 4%, Barr 1%.

Guarantee the 4% comes straight from Obamas total. They would never show McCain leading outside the MOE. But I bet it is McCain 49% Obama 45% Nader 4% Barr 1%

There are far more conservatives in this Country than liberals.

Then there are lot of stupid people in our fold.

No actually, there is no other state that has been this reliable a bellwether.

Ohio has deviated, I think twice in the last 100 years.

This one has been going since 1904—Over 100 Hundred Years and that is because demographically it has represented a cross section of America with the right number of urban vs. rural etc. Obviously that could change but it has been a long time not a short time.

I think McCain will carry MO by 3 or 4 points.

Well, didn’t I hear today that they had more registered voters than they had people? St. Louis corruption no doubt.

I like how they put it “still even”. If it were there boy bambi it would have read, “Obama holds commanding 50 percent of the vote in MO”

Any word of an election day slow down or machine breakdowns planned in the swing states. I have to wonder why such a big push for early votes. If they cause problems Nov 4 in key areas and discourage people from waiting in lines???? Combine that with them having a substantial percent of their votes in already.

Conservative does not equal republican necessarily. There is a big contingent of dems that are socially conservative. There are some economic conservatives that usually go libertarian.

If Obama had a conservative bone in his body he would win going away. I think most centrist dems could easily win this year. The dems over-reached and chose a bunch of freakish lib leaders Pelosi, Reid, Obama, Franks, Dodd etc.

The polling has shown Obama ahead all this time because most everyone assumed the dems would win and should. Then as this election closes, people are looking at them and seeing the leadership as way too far left on every major issue. Conservatives, economic and social, are coming back.

I think you are right on this. I think they are counting on banking a bunch then intentionally causing problems on election day. What if 20 people showed up at your polling location trying to vote illegally? Then they complained and argued to delay things.

Just remember if you are in line when the polls close you can still vote. I expect certain republican districts in key states to have intentionally long lines and waits. I worked a polling place in 2000 that voted until 11:30 (7:00 close).

It’s that way every election.

They will probably try to hold the polls open longer in St. Louis by going to the courts which is an every election year play too.

I suspect PA is a pipe dream, but I hope not. I believe Colorado and Nevada decide this thing.
