So is Romney going to spend the next 4 years trying to undermine everyone in McCain’s cabinet when he is passed up for a spot?
I just emailed
Message:
I voted for Mitt Romney in the Missouri primary.
if Kevin Madden or others in the Romney camp continue to trash Sarah Palin, I, and many other Republicans, will NEVER forgive Gov. Romney and oppose him at every level.
I speak for millions.
“Romney is a scum bag that needs to be driven from the GOP. “
If the above is true, and it’s a deliberate strategy, I agree.
I just don’t trust every bit of news that first appears.
Sarah is very popular and this is a very critical juncture in the presidential race. Kevin Madden's criticism of Sarah at this point in time makes Kevin look like a dopey amateur.
If you go back over my posts I’ve been against Romney since the start of my posts (A Fred Thompson reporter), so I’m not palin’ on here. Romney seems an opportunist who will say anything to further his road to whereever he’s going towards. After losing, and losing stupidly, to McCain in the primaries he’s now working behind the scenes to get Palin out of the way in case she loses next week. Maybe wanting the 2012 nomination himself isn’t bad in itself, but he should be holding his fire until Nov. 5th. Romney the RINO, support the team with all of your strength or be prepared for Palin to high heel you some new hairpieces.
"Former Mitt Romney presidential campaign staffers, some of whom are currently working
for Sen. John McCain and Gov. Sarah Palin's bid for the White House, have been involved
in spreading ant-Palin spin to reporters, seeking to diminish her standing after the election.
"Sarah Palin is a lightweight, she won't be the first, not even the third, person people
will think of when it comes to 2012," says one former Romney aide,
now working for McCain-Palin. "The only serious candidate ready to challenge to
lead the Republican Party is Mitt Romney. He's in charge on November 5th."

I never liked Romney getting out there with his big money pushing aside better candidates. He has been supportive of McCain so I’m not going to knock him but his spoiled yuppie followers had better keep their traps shut if they EVER want him to even have a possibility of running for President again. Romney needs to run for Congress or Senate and prove himself with votes. The same goes for Huckabee. They both should put their votes where their mouths are. Either way the backbiting needs to stop. We need to win this election, the polls are closing and we need to get McCain across the finish line.
Romney is out for Romney.
He’s been lukewarm at best toward Sarah. Compare Mitt’s support to Fred or Rudy, and there is no comparison.
Romney is done in the GOP.
URGENT MESSAGE FROM THE GOP GRASSROOTS IN THE MIDWEST
Madden and other Romney goons.
GO TO HELL
Thank you.
We now return you to regular programming.
BTW...I was a Fred supporter. Donated hundreds of dollars. Fred pulled out before the Missouri primary. I voted Romney to oppose McCain.
Mitt won't be getting my vote.
Kevin Madden no longer works for Mitt, he works for some group known as the Grove Group, a Democrat outfit, he is a Vichy Republican, and of the worst stripe, he is using his fmr status as a spokesmen for Boehner and Mitt to sell himself to the highest bidder.
“Madden no longer works for Romney. Romney, himself, has been out campaigning for McCain and Palin, and speaking positively about Palin.”
I for one am NOT buying the spin now!!!
Sounds to me like Romney just keeps digging a deeper hole. He mustn’t have any political aspirations for the future...because he doesn’t have a political future after this becomes widely known.
Maybe he can go back to his liberal politics and attract the socialists. He seems to be very flexible in his politics.
Welcome to the 2012 race!
Thanks for the info. Apparently Madden is playing to the kiss-a$$ Politico/CNN crowd.
Mitt Romney is a beautiful man, with really nice hair, a snappy dresser, wonderful personality, brilliant business sense and occasional conservative positions when he needs them....
There are some of us who will not forget the turncoats that failed to support McCain and Palin.
If Romney were at all a viable candidate, he would have creamed McCain, who was basically a Democrat running in a Republican primary.
Jindal/Petraeus 2012!!!
