I mean, WHAT were those Founding Fathers thinking?
How many shades of pink does it take to get from fascist to communist? Both ideologies are about the attempt to replace the Creator that bestowed upon HIS creation the basic fundamental rights of 'life', 'liberty', and pursuit of happiness'.
Whittaker Chambers wrote the following:
The revolutionary heart of Communism is not the theatrical appeal: "Workers of the world, unite. You have nothing to lose but your chains. You have a world to gain." It is a simple statement of Karl Marx, further simplified for handy use: "Philosophers have explained the world; it is necessary to change the world." Communists are bound together by no secret oath. The tie that binds them across the frontiers of nations, across barriers of language and differences of class and education, in defiance of religion, morality, truth, law, honor, the weaknesses of the body and the irresolutions of the mind, even unto death, is a simple conviction: It is necessary to change the world. Their power, whose nature baffles the rest of the world, because in a large measure the rest of the world has lost that power, is the power to hold convictions and to act on them. It is the same power that moves mountains; it is also an unfailing power to move men. Communists are that part of mankind which has recovered the power to live or die -to bear witness-for its faith. And it is a simple, rational faith that inspires men to live or die for it.
It is not new. It is, in fact, man's second oldest faith. Its promise was whispered in the first days of the Creation under the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil: "Ye shall be as gods." It is the great alternative faith of mankind. Like all great faiths, its force derives from a simple vision. Other ages have had great visions. They have always been different versions of the same vision: the vision of God and man's relationship to God. The Communist vision is the vision of Man without God.
It is the vision of man's mind displacing God as the creative intelligence of the world. It is the vision of man's liberated mind, by the sole force of its rational intelligence, redirecting man's destiny and reorganizing man's life and the world. It is the vision of man, once more the central figure of the Creation, not because God made man in His image, but because man's mind makes him the most intelligent of the animals. Copernicus and his successors displaced man as the central fact of the universe by proving that the earth was not the central star of the universe. Communism restores man to his sovereignty by the simple method of denying God....

Even Saul Alinsky validates in his book Rules for Radicals, the Whittaker Chambers, book Witness
If Obama wins, I'm getting myself a Pinochet (No Commies) Tee shirt. He's the real Latin American hero that should adorn tee shirts. Not that Commie failure Che.
Who is John Galt?
No. Must not have gotten that far....
What I find more surprising than the fact that your post is 100% accurate is that so many Americans have no difficulty with Marxism, socialism or communism.
Could you try to be just a little more insulting? I and many like me attended a public university, myself during the early 70s. The majority of the officers I served with during my military career attended public universities and that is still true today.
Indoctrination works on those who are non-critical thinkers and who have never been taught how to filter the BS and argue for a point of view.
Part of raising children with proper values is teaching them to think for themselves and weigh the value of ideas. If you teach your kids those skills along with the right values they are unlikely to become indoctrinated.
Yeah, there are plenty of marxists at various institutions but when it comes down to not falling for the lies the responsibility for making your kids ready for the world (university or workplace) outside of your control is in your hands. If you can’t get them to that point then try to lock them up in a monastery or nunnery.
“From each according to his ability, to each according to his need” comes from Frenchman Louis Blanc in his work “L’Organisation du travail” c. 1840. Marx just decided to Biden it for his own publication.
Maybe we are all French now?
Dear Shortstop:
That is my sentiment exactly. Just one election ago, and even more so 3 or 4 elections ago, any one of those elements would have been enough to sink the candidate that held those views.
Obama has about 8 of those anti-American, Marxist views, and its like nobody cares. It’s one thing to tax and spend, but it quite another to tax and give to someone else to make the recipient more wealthy than he was through state redistribution.
And he states that Constitution is flawed. Here’s the deal everyone should be scared about: since Obama thinks it flawed, when he gets into office, he’s going to try to fix it, according to how he believes it should be fixed. To me, someone who attempts to change the Constitution, calls it deeply flawed, is an enemy within, as a dangerous as any Al Quaeda terrorist.
To paraphrase Bastiat- To test the legitimacy of a law one should ask the question, “if it were done by a private citizen would it be a crime”. ‘Nuff said on redistribution.
Whatever they were intended to be, they are now nothing but overpriced propaganda mills.
This country suffers mightily for it.
Obama is a National Socialist

It's in there. 'The One' actually made a statement about himself using those terms that is documented.
I know it's a long read, but it keeps building.
I wonder what the odds are that this ‘birth certificate’ thing blows up *after* Obama wins the election but before the Electoral College meets.
Hillary would then step up as the heir apparent, be anointed President and the country would breathe a sigh of relief that she isn’t Obama.
Now, Obama may have plans to do both these things and many others as reprehensible but until he proposes then, I believe a more accurate description of him would be as a fascist and not an othodox communist. Although he spent much of his youth in the company of communists, he seems to be a “redistributionist”, rather than an expropriator. As but these ideologies are of the Left, movement between them is frequent. Lets remember that Mussolini began his career as a communist or hard left socialist; and Hitler lived and died believing he was a socialist.
Of course, the ideological distinctions between the groups
(fascists, socialist, and communist) are of degree, not quality. All aim at the subjugation of man by man; at the elimination of the Judeo/Christian faith as central focus of moral authority; and all aim at the worship of the state rather than a Divine Creator.
This country was established in opposition to the political ideas of Europe. All three of these ideas are imported from Europe; they are alien to the system of government established in this country; and they seek to reshape our republican democracy into a state whose relationship with its citizens is fundamentally different from that which has been the cornerstone of American uniqueness and greatness.
Note Bama slipped up big time in Joe the Plumber's front yard with his wealth distribution threat.... No prompter to keep him in focus. He is just the image of the bigger plot to reformulate the communistic system and Hitler is even still the communists scapegoat. They sure did not mind joining with him when it suited their intentions. Hitler took advantage of that seed bed that emerged, once again at the end of WWI and for practical purposes took the attention off the real bloody system that continued to literally destroy hundreds of millions of humanity these freaks claim they are about protecting. Hitler sought to take advantage of what communism already presented him.
Bama does not know squat regarding agriculture and if one looks closely in our present governmental rewards we are darn near there in a collectivist system.
Much propaganda has been produced to convince people that Fascism/Nazism is an ideology of the Right and Socialism/Communism are ideologies of the Left. No idea could be more inaccurate. All four of these doctrines are to the left of the center of political spectrum, although where each should be placed is a matter of debate.
I realize the Hitler and Stalin engaged in a war of destruction, but this was more in the nature of a family quarrel. It was a struggle between two ideologies with different conceptions of the role of man, of God to man, and man to the state.
Both ideologies worshiped the state. They run counter to the notion of individual liberty as propounded by John Locke, Adam Smith, or Edmund Burker. All four were imported from liberty and have nothing in common with the notions of man and his relationship with the state that is embodied in the US Constitution.
If you doubt the alien nature of Nazism/Fascism and Socialism/Communism, examine the ideas and attitudes of the American Left. They take their cues from Europeans intellectuals and political theorists. The American Left admires European culture, seeing it as superior to American; do not forget that Adolf Hitler had the same notion. The American Left admires the institutions of Europe, in particular the World Court and other transnational bodies. American Leftist cringe at criticism from European elites. The American Left seeks to transform this country into Europe in North America.
