I disagree. Bad vanities are usually posted to relieve some anger or frustration on the part of the poster without any thought of whether or not it contributes something positive to the grand mosaic of FR.

I'd like to put the vain back in vanity. I'm fortunate to be within range of this camera often. Someday I will post the url of this camera (Sheraton Kauai Resort) along with aiming coordinates so to point the camera at me. I will invite posters to say wonderful things about me. That's a vanity. (So is this, lol.)

Well, maybe there should be a separate area for Vanity posts, that way people like yourself will not have to be offended by them in the general forum.
There is obviously a need for people to post these vanities, because people do it so often.
Just a thought.....
