I never had any faith in McMaverick's staff. If he wins, it will be only because of his choice of Sarah Palin and due to her aggressive (pitbull) campaign style. i think it is more good cop/bad cop. she would not have joined his ticket, if they were not at least on the same page on most important issues. she is too smart for that. i dont ever trust the msms “anonymous sources” either. this story works for the campaign. i mean it shows she is really maverick, and it keeps the base stoked and he can keep appealing to the moderates. annoying to read though!

My advice to Sarah is to continue to ignore "the staff". This is apparently the same "staff" which refuses to show America, via a massive TV ad buy, that the next Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces could be the Number One most liberal member of the Senate, a shiny little turd of a "community organizer" named Barack Hussein Obama.

if truth be known every candidate(s) sits down with his inner circle of advisors from time to time to develop tactics and map out a short-term and long-term strategy for the campaign. They all have strong opinions and they digest all the info before them; they all have ideas on how to proceed but it comes down to the approach the candidate(s)want to take and the emphasis they want to place on a topic. Back to Sarah. She may disagree with certain approaches and what to emphasize but as the candidate she has to remain loyal to McCain and not stray off the reservation, which she hasn’t. Whether to leave Michigan is an ‘inside baseball’ question, whether to talk about Wright is a basic disagreement with McCain and not the staff. Whether to talk to the press in an impromptu fashion is her choice. To accuse her of going ‘rogue’ because of this is pretty extreme. Actually Sarah has been on message for the entire campaign. Who has been the ‘rogue’ has been Joe Biden. This is a futile attempt at the divide and conquer strategy.

Those country club Republicans (just like country club Democrats) despised Ronald Reagan. The CCRs only tolerated him because he was so popular and got votes. The CCRs are no friends of conservatives.
