This is a tragedy in ways that cannot be described.
My sympathies to her family and friends.

The evil could be personalized to her own circumstances, or something that would affect us all. Who can tell?

did she talk at all......this stinks...

No, she has been sedated in intensive care with every bone in her face broken and her brain swollen.

That she played the part of Ann Coulter in “W” should be an angle investigators should look into.

Nonsense. She also interviewed Dick Cheney. Should they interview him too?

Pressly had a small role in the new Oliver Stone movie W, which was filmed in Shreveport, La. She appears briefly as a conservative commentator who speaks favorably of President Bush's "Mission Accomplished" event on an aircraft carrier shortly after the start of the Iraq war. She got the role when she went to Shreveport for a story on the movie and the city's film industry and was noticed by a casting director.

KATV's Web site notes that Pressly's most notable interview was with Vice President Dick Cheney. Pressly was returning from a story in east Arkansas in Humphrey and traveling through Stuttgart, where the highway was blocked in front of hunting supply store Mack's Prairie Wings.

It turned out that Cheney, an avid hunter who sometimes pursues his hobby in Arkansas, was inside. Pressly asked for an interview, which she conducted on the ammunition aisle.

*That she played the part of Ann Coulter in “W” should be an angle investigators should look into.*

Well, if they’re going to use that as an investigative tool, it shouldn’t take long to interview all 12 people who have paid to see the movie nationwide.

Did they catch the Bas@#$!

No, but they will. He was dumb enough to use one of her credit cards at a nearby gas station, one with many surveillance cameras.

I read on another thread that this lady is related to a Freeper but a handle wasn’t given.

That was me, I think. But I'm not at liberty to give the handle of the FReeper.

I said then that the courts would not do anything that would provide justice. That was predicated on her survival, which seemed to be likely at the time.

Now they could. But I still hope that when they find the perp, the SOB resists arrest, with a weapon.

More a**hats being shot by women would soon lower this type of crime.

Sure would, even if it only prevented the perps from committing more such acts. . Hard to beat up women if you bleed out after the first attempt.

For me, it hit personally. My young, beautiful, intelligent daughter is also a TV news anchor. I pray diligently for her safety always.

If she lives in a concealed handgun state, and most people do, especially a "shall issue" state, encourage her to get some training, a gun, and a license/permit to carry it.

It was you, I went back and found the post. I don’t need the handle of the FReeper and they have my prayers. I too hope that the perp is taken down the hard way.

Thank you.

Nothing thousands of other FReepers wouldn't do. I just did it first.

But you are most welcome.
