The backward B is called a mirror image. And I was kinda thinking . . . Well, I would have expected a struggle while being cut.
Awful fast bruising. Generally, take a day or two to get black and blue.
In any case, bruises and an ATM visit don't add up to black mugger who scratched up her face out of McCain rage.
Most stories of this type end up being hoaxes and I will remain skeptical until there is real proof.
Wait a sec. I thought she was looking for a B of A ATM to avoid the service charge? That's how she came to be driving around, ending up in a bad neighborhood (as she duly noted on her web page).
Did she give up on avoiding the fee and stopped in the bad neighborhood instead of going back closer to where she was staying? That makes sense./s
I won’t say ‘I knew it”, because I didn’t know anything. Which was my point.
Drudge now has it that this is a hoax
While we now know the injuries were self inflicted, they apparently were real.
I had an IV line put in this morning, around 10:45, when the proceedure was finished, around noon, I had two nice bruises. One where the IV line was, and one were the nurse first "tried" to put it in. The first one should be worse, because she "blew out" the vein, possibly at a valve, but it's not.
Just beginning to feel human again in fact. I took a long time coming out of the anesthesia, at least all the way out. Woke up in about normal time.
I don't wish to be rude, but could that be a function of age? I don't bruise very often so mostly it's an observation made of my children.
Glad you made it out ok and are up and around FReeping!
Not rude at all. And in point of fact, I'm old as the hills, well almost. :) And also in point of fact, I bruise a bit more easily now, and when I had the same procedure 13 months ago, did not bruise much at all. Different nurse putting the IV in.
However my wife has always bruised easily, and quickly. She's much fairer skinned (Dane and German genes, I've only got the German). I've observed that women in general seem to bruise more easily, but there is wide range of this among both women and men.
I'm all recharged now, but I fell asleep *sitting* on the coach about 7:30 or 8 PM.
Now, about 29 hours later, my bruise is almost gone. The sites are still sore to the touch though.
