You do understand that Ellen and her girlfriend got married two weeks ago, don’t you? You know she produces her own show, and writes must of the stuff on it, don’t you? Who would be pressuring her?!

I do know that she got married and I also know that she runs her own show, but I also know that people were pressuring her to show some support. Truthfully, I believe Califorinians will vote against the gay marriage.

There goes the lesbian vote McCain was counting on to put him over the top.

My bet is John only wants to "be on top".

The key is, of course, in the way that it is presented. As "equality." Who wouldn't be for equality? Only small minded bigots, right? But it's not about equality. Homosexuals are already equal. They go to school, work, vote, drive cars, pay taxes just like anyone.

And of course, they have the same rights regarding marriage as the rest of us. Ellen has the right to marry. She just chooses not to because she does not choose to share her life with a man.

Another class A idiot, Stephanie Miller, goes on Larry King and refers to Sarah Palin as Caribou Barbie. King just lets it pass. If anyone came back and called that guy who pals around terrorists, Hiphop Hussein, you can imagine the explosion. Maybe it’s about time to answer fire with fire.

So she wants us all to be equal, but Sarah should not have an equal right to her own opinion?

This is something the Godless left will never admit:

There is no 'right' to disobey God who created you.

“For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness …” (Romans 1:18).

They know sodomy and homosexuality are wrong.

They are just ticked off someone reminded them of it.

Now, I can think of a position I would like to see her take...sigh. Such a perfect vessel for such a useless brain.

One of my favorite, FAVORITE scenes from a movie this year was in the "Get Smart" movie, where the evil guy was going to set off a bomb at the Oscar ceremony, and his henchman says: "Too bad about all those Hollywood Celebrities who will have to die.."

The bad guy answers in the driest, most wonderfully sarcastic tone:

"Yes. What WILL we do without their razor-sharp political opinions?"

I must say, that single line was worth the price of admission...:)

I wonder if Ellen thinks Mormons and Muslims should be allowed to marry in multiples. Or the members of a whole hippie commune to each other. Or two roomates who don't have sex.

I'd hate to think she would be bigoted against less traditional forms of marriage than her own.

“So she wants us all to be equal, but Sarah should not have an equal right to her own opinion?”

That’s exactly it.

So everyone who has held to the actual definition of “marriage” is a bigot because they won’t change that very basic definition.

So - throughout all of history, up until this point - the definition of “marriage” has been wrong, and these folks are tryint to enlighten the rest of us.

Having just finished watching the broadcast tonight-we the viewers had a unique opportunity to witness first hand how the gay community has boundary issues. As soon as the broadcaster said, That’s all we have time for - the opposition for Prop 8 talked right over top of his closing. No means no. We the voters said no when it was PROP 22 and we still say no. People in the gay community need to learn how to hear ‘no’ and learn how to ‘accept’. Obviously they have acceptance issues to begin with. I resent the gay proponents trying to use ‘discrimination’ and ‘equality’ and ‘fairness’ and ‘wrong’ as their campaign mantra. We are not defining ‘discrimination’. We are not defining ‘fairness’. We are not defining ‘right’ or ‘wrong’. We are not defining ‘equality’. WE ARE DEFINING MARRIAGE. If we were RE-DEFINING the term and scope of ‘discrimination’ then I would expect rewriting the definition of ‘discrimination’ to be placed square next to PROP 8 on the November ballot. But it’s not. We are defining marriage as a union between one man and one woman. Period. I am voting YES ON PROP 8 to save the traditional definition of marriage by which without it none of us would be here. It has been our template. YES ON 8.
