I looked around on the Net and it looks like he was elected editor in chief during the second half of his second year. He got on the law review though late in his first year at law school. This is all typical for law reviews.

You'd think that a genius like Osama would have learned at Harvard Law School that bombing US Government buildings is a fairly serious offense and,in light of this undeniable fact, one should steer clear of those who *still* boast of having done so.
But then,I suspect that the admission standards at Harvard have slipped in recent years.

All are men. All are dressed in dark-colored suits and ties. All are white.
Can’t be true if in ‘76 that Susan Estrich (sp) was the editor. The only thing consistant with obama is that he lies CONSTANTLY.

Journalists, more like Urinanists. They are so in the tank for Obamalamadingdong that 100% of the American people see through their facade. This is a travesty. There is no free press in this country and it is the shame of the press that makes this such a travesty. They have chosen their way and they are the most contemptible of intuitions. They have sold their souls, they have sold their sacred honor to the communists. They have sold out their country. Let's not go down with them.

I don't buy a single word of Hussein's biography that includes an adjective.

Do you know if he has ever donated back to these colleges he attended?
Or do you know a FReeper that has already done this work?

He was probably elected at the end of his second year in law school, so he could run the Law Review the following year -- his last year in law school.
I have read that he wrote a single relatively pedestrian case note -- an analysis of a single case, i.e., a run of the mill article for a Law Review. Nothing fancy.

What happened to that Barack Obama?
Doesn’t even sound like the same person running for President, to me.
But I do note that HE LIED ABOUT HIS TIME IN INDONESIA. He didn’t mention his adoption by Lolo Soetoro. He didn’t discuss his trip to Pakistan in 1981, either.
So maybe he just learned to sublimate?

I imagine that Estrich graded on to law review and that Obama made it by some alternative means like writing (perhaps plagiarizing) an essay about his life experiences. I went to an Ivy League law school (not Harvard). In my first year, eligibility for law review was changed from strictly grade-based to “grades plus,” i.e., grades plus an essay about the candidate’s “life experiences.” The essay supposedly was anonymous; however, because it was autobiographical, it was easy enough for the editors to identify blacks, gays and anyone else they wanted to hand pick for a prized spot on the law review. Could I have graded on? No. Did I participate in their sham selection process by submitting an essay? Heck no.

No idea about him personally; interesting question though
I do know that PrinceAlwaleed dropped $20mm for the Islamic Studies Department.
Close enough for me.
