The President is the leader of the executive branch of the Federal Governement. Sarah Palin has experience as the leader of the executive branch of Local and State Government, which is the obvious and natural progression.
What gives people the idea that serving in the legislative branch, as a Senator for example, provides preparation for an Executive job?
Short answer: Yes!
