If this election recount is drawn out and there is no decision by January 20th, Nancy Pelosi becomes President and Robert Byrd (D-KKK) becomes VP.

I don’t hear anyone in the media questioning their qualifications or fitness to lead.

No wonder the GOP brand doesn’t sell in NY - a bunch of liberals have commandeered the party!

LOL. Carville is talking about the 3:00 am phone call he himself said Obama wasn’t qualified to answer when Hillary was running. Another McCain commercial waiting to happen.

These are the same imbeciles who tried to convince us a year ago that Rooty Tooty was a conservative.

well, the media brainwashing definitely had some success. While the base is electrified by a real reform candidate and some in the mushy middle have jumped on board, a number of people bought the garbage from the media that Palin is somehow not qualified, despite the same pedigree (governor) that four of the last five presidents had. Successful state governors typically become President. She has the highest ratings among the 50 governors, and has significant accomplishments on energy and government reform.

how many were comfortable with Palin becoming president if something were to happen to John McCain,

They'd be much more comfortable with someone like Obama.

They aren't comfortable with her because she isn't like them. She's governor of a state the size of Western Europe, but she isn't like them. Obama they can understand. They'd rather lose to him than win with her.

These “republicans” brought you Bloomberg, the world’s most tyrannical mayor, after 2001, so don’t act so surprised. True conservatives would have seen to it that the idiot never got elected.

This is why the McCain campaign needs to just let Palin talk to the press and run ads talking about the specifics of her record in Alaska. They let the MSM define her by talking about non of her accomplishments so they have to. They could probably get a few points that way, by reassuring the voters afraid of her that she’ll be fine.

"People are talking about a 3 a.m. call to the White House. McCain is 72 years old. I'm 65. I know where he'll be at 3 a.m. He'll be in the bathroom."

Carville has probably spent lot's of late nights in White House bathrooms -- cleaning up after Bill!

the worst scenario would be if Biden becomes president, or for that matter if Obama wins.

The fact is that Palin is better equipped, as few years experience as it may be, than the three senators.

Regarding Carville’s “old” joke. This morning on First Light, a national talk show, an older woman declared how sick of it she was to hear the Dems talking about McCain, at 72, as though he has one foot in the grave.

I know there are some seniors who are kind of bedraggled and can’t picture being vigorous enough to be Prez at 72, but there are an awful lot of seniors who resent the age jokes. A senior backlash would be welcome!

Nope! Clap is funnier and not half as ugly.
