One can in fact get to their news stories and archives on KCNA in Korean and English right now, but their top page is looking rather strange, and refused to convert a big paragraph of characters right in the middle of the page (that is never there) into anything readable, no matter which browser encoding converting to; they are now running this on the KCNA Japan based website top page. This is out of the ordinary. Could be code to international missions, or DPRK types overseas traveling, which check in to the DPRK site for news, to be told what to do, just conjecture:
I have cut and pasted it here, but it wont mean anything...

No I can not read it, it might be something about bath and hot water, but very strange. Perhaps code.

Any Freeper out there good with this stuff, go to
HERE, NORTH KOREAN NEWSITE KCNA BASED IN JAPAN, TOP PAGE and look at the weird characters in the center of the page, that comprise one big paragraph. These are random Chinese characters and odd pictograph characters all jumbled together. The Chinese context does not make sense, it is in fact nonsense. These are never there. I have never seen anything like this.
Can ANYONE convert this "bakamoji" nonsense text into a complete different script than what it is? If not, why do they suddenly display this on their public news site? What do other peoples' browsers pick up? Particularly those of you out there with Korean or other Asian font reading capabilities. This is some kind of nonsense code of sorts.
I just took a manual screen save of it.
It is already known that they broadcast code to overseas diplomats and "others" through their powerful AM broadcasting station which can be heard all throughout Northeast Asia, but could this be some kind of diplomatic order, encoded, being "broadcast" on their English/Korean website?

He is going to unveil Bin Laden, he has been harboring Bin Laden this whole time, Kim will announce that Bin Laden and N. Korea have signed an alliance and will start their plan to destroy America.
In a major blunder, Obama’s first remarks upon descending from his campaign plane was that, “since North Korea was recently taken off of the terrorist list, he feels confident that he can negotiate a peace treaty with Kim/Bin Laden and he will meet the team without preconditions after he is sworn in.

How are you listening to that?

If you care to patronize one of the North Korean-run restaurants that might be near you (as you are in S.E. Asia) it might be interesting to see if anything is out of the ordinary with those girls (waitresses/dancers). I know there is one of these in Phnom Penh, and probably one in Bangkok.
There are many North Koreans in Tokyo; if something is out of kilter, some of them will pick it up and it would spread probably by rumor.
The combination of the KCNA site tonight, and the AFP, Yomiuri report, is very strange indeed.

No, it is just nonsense, they are Chinese characters alright, I read Chinese and it is meaninglessly jumbled together, much as an English speaker could read ljvouewo@jhdlkjs*jvasdmv. s;lj&di!jf\sdmvaslkm.sljfod!! and know that it is meaningless. Thing is, it cannot be converted to another script, as far as I can tell. Thanks for sharing.

To the outsiders, it looks as if there were chaos inside N. Korean regime. Somehow chain of command fractured and one part of government doing one thing, while another does another thing.
The center is gone, and each branch of gov moving on its own.

The Korean Central News Agency, the DPRK house organ for the West, has no story about Chia Pet “doing” anything. Very unusual for them.
Who is next in line for power?
