Lacy things -- the wife is missin',
Didn't ask -- her permission,
I'm wearin' her clothes,
Her silk pantyhose,
Walkin' 'round in women's underwear.

We wear them waterskiing in the bay when the nettles invade.

I don't see much difference between pantyhose and Under Armour Cold Weather leggings. No, the UnderArmor is much warmer than pantyhose, depending on what grade of UnderArmor you buy. I do a lot of outdoor winter sports and do some work outdoors in the winter, and believe me, pantyhose got nothing on the real thing. Pantyhose really hardly keep my legs warm at all, and they have FEET in them that keep your feet from benefiting from warm socks.

UnderArmor mens fitted legging $54.99 Good pair of pantyhose $5.00 Speaking from LOTS of experience with pantyhose over the years, I can tell you a couple of things:
Pantyhose don't last very long, and you will spend that $5 over and over and OVER again in just one season of cold weather. They get holes in them, they twist and bind, they run, and finally you have to throw them out. Proper long underwear will last for many years and are cheaper in the long run (no pun intended).
UnderArmor or Patagonia or similar items wick sweat away from your skin so you don't get cold from your own freezing wetness.
Pantyhose don't protect you from wind and don't have any insulating effects.
Honestly, I have to wear pantyhose every day. I don't mind them. I would never wear them for serious riding, hunting or skiing in the winter, though.

But still I'm drivin' a truck
Drivin' a big ol' truck
Headin' down the interstate, just tryin' to make a buck
Wearin' feather boas with sequins and chiffon
While I'm drivin' a truck with my high heels on

LOL! I’ve got that song on a CD somewhere - I think it was from the Bob and Tom Show.
