I wonder if there is any room left under ‘that bus’ where all the other Obama ‘friends’ have been thrown?

You can’t have that many corrupt ‘friends’ and not be corrupt yourself!

******

“Giannoulias is so tainted by reputed mob links that several top Illinois Dems, including the state’s speaker of the House and party chairman, refused to endorse him even after he won the Democratic nomination with Obama’s help.”
Lynn Sweet, Chicago Sun-Times

“In the 2006 Democratic primary, for example, Obama endorsed first-time candidate Alexi Giannoulias for state treasurer despite reports about loans Giannoulias’ family-owned Broadway Bank made to crime figures. Records show Giannoulias and his family had given more than $10,000 to Obama’s campaign, which banked at Broadway.”

Alexi Giannoulias, who became Illinois state treasurer last year after Obama vouched for him, has pledged to raise $100,000 for the senator’s Oval Office bid.

Before he promised to raise funds for Obama, Giannoulias bankrolled Michael “Jaws” Giorango, a Chicagoan twice convicted of bookmaking and promoting prostitution. “

September 23, 2008: “Obama was scheduled to attend a private Greek fund-raiser” Monday night, September 22nd, at Chicago’s Powerhouse restaurant hosted by “Obama’s basketball buddy, state Treasurer Alexi Giannoulias, who was hitting donors up for $28,500 for Democratic National Committee coffers.”

The Associated Press reported September 22, 2008, that Obama has already raised $17.5 million from donors in the Chicago metro area. Tonight he returns to dig deeper into contributors’ pockets.

The first Chicago event, with minimum admission of $1,500, will be held at The Standard Club. The second fundraiser, at a downtown restaurant, is being hosted by Illinois State Treasurer Alexi Giannoulias (jeh-NOO’-lee-ehs) and has a $28,500 admission price.

In 2006, when Illinois State Treasurer Alexi Giannoulias was running for office, his good friend Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) not only vouched for him but also appeared in a campaign commercial in support of his campaign.

When Giannoulias visited Chicago’s SouthtownStar editorial board last week, he said that he had “met several times” with convicted political fixer Antoin “Tony” Rezko as a “banking customer,” Kristen McQueary reported June 15, 2008.

Jack Bauer needs to interview Rezko.

Rezko wanted in Vegas for $450,000 in debts
http://www.suntimes.com/news/metro/rezko/978735,CST-NWS-rezko30.article
Rezko allegedly accumulated $450,000 in debts to Caesars Palace and Bally’s Hotel Casino between March and July 2006. He passed nine bad checks and got hundreds of thousands of dollars in cash or gaming chips in return, Roger said. The bad checks, written on Rezko’s Broadway Bank account, were for amounts ranging from $15,000 to $120,000. Bellagio LLC won a civil judgment against Rezko for failing to repay $331,000 in gambling markers.

Hmmmm. I wonder if McCain is going easy on Wright, etc., and not going for the jugular in numerous other ways . . . because he knows about something that’s due to break soon.

"too bad that Rezko doesn’t want to serve time, and holds quite a bit of information about the Chicago Political Establishment that may be interesting to the Feds. "

I hope he's in protective custody.

It’s too late to make a difference. The fix is already in.

.

One can wonder if Trinity/Wright fit in the funding circle. Trinity United won't talk about the 10k sq. ft. home it is building for Wright or the financing.

Take a report: Fitzgerald won’t do ANYTHING to embarrass Obama before the election. This whole drama is to delay the sentencing. Once Obama seizes power, Fitzgerald will be fired, and Rezko pardoned.

Timothy McVeigh is executed while Bill Ayers gets promoted to professor. I don’t get it.

Imagine an election where Obama wins but can’t show up for the swearing in ceremony, because he’s in jail.
Do we get to have a new election or does McCain get to be sworn in?
