At least we know that Rudy would be effective in changing the narrative on this entire issue. The media would have a difficult time ignoring Rudy, he kind of demands attention. And if McCain, when announcing Rudy, could simply say that ‘regardless of what he might say, my opponent won’t be looking into this issue with any aggressiveness given that two of his advisors, Raines and Johnson, who made about $150 million between them working for Fannie Mae are among those at the center of this.........”
Criticizing Obama is not dishonorable.
You can readily see how many blacks are in leadership positions over in Europe. Maybe the Europeans should stick to criticizing themselves.
McCain has $160 million with his war chest and GOP. They have been holding fire. The NRA has committed $40 million as well. Supposedly Rove may have $200 million more in 527 PAC money he is cooridinating though this is unconfirmed.
They have been letting Obama spend and waiting to blast him at the last minute. Obama has a very expensive paid staff and the GOP usually have a lot of volunteers (us). So we need to donate and volunteer. I have seen volunteers versus paid Kerry/MoveOn.org employees in 2004 and volunteers win.
I sure hope you are right. Mac seems to be marching to the beat of his own drummer in this election. I can’t figure him out. His has missed several chances at inflicting a mortal wound on Obama’s campaign but never took them. He seems to be oscillating back and forth from being tough and being nice. He needs to pick one and stick with it. I prefer that he beat Obama into the ground so bad that his grand kids would be afraid to run.
Smart move by McCain. The American public does not even start paying attention to the candidates until the last week. The general public has no clue who they are voting for, they only know who the MSM says is a “good guy” and who is not. Or, they go on name recognition only and assume that Democrats are good and Republicans are bad.
Which explains why the public views Democrats as the best for the economy. Even is spite of all the latest Democrat caused chaos and decades of statistics, the media blames Republicans and Bush, the public buys it without a second look.
Thank you for that information.
I was totally unaware.
