Well. I guess we know what these people think now about Obama. Probably not good news for McCain in he long run. I baffles me how people can be called what they are called by Obama and sill support him in those parts. Damn shame.

It’s Scranton. They’re Democrats. They have voted for Democrats forever. We used to watch the Democrat ward heelers go around Court House Square and round up the drunks to take to the polls. Just before closing they would send in flunkies to vote for the names who did not show up yet.

They will vote for Obama, and spend the next four years complaining about all his stupid actions and traitorous behavior - and then they will vote for him again, just like they will vote for Casey again.

Sure is a big disconnect between stories like this and the barrage of polls showing Obama leading in PA by 15 points.

If he were really up by 15 points in PA, why have both campaigns spent the weekend there? Both sides must know the media polls are crap.

Actually, you are probably correct on that. She is very well liked up there.

In another example of the incompetence of the McCain campaign staff, they lost another of countless opportunities when they did not send Palin right into Scranton the day after the convention and have her say something like "I have guns and religion, and whatever I say here in Scranton is the same thing I will say in San Francisco".
