There is nothing I have heard that makes me think McCain has administered any serious wounds. Pollsters will think Bama won.
Everyone knows the polls are flawed. The same stunt was pulled in the 2004 election. Even the exit polls showed Senator John Kerry with a huge lead - to no avail. Senator Obama should be leading by 15 to 20 points - but he is barely over the margin of error. This despite having every news media, print & broadcast, and almost every publication plus hundreds of millions of dollars at his disposal. Heck, the news media is out right campaigning for him. Senator McCain will win this election - and we’ll be a better country for it.
At the start Obama was winning hands down. However, I have noticed in the last 20 minutes he has lost his thought as he is talking and started mentally wandering.
Also, a thought: We do not see the body language of the people in this forum. I hope that Mccain is structuring his answers based on what he is seeing.

I thought there was only one debate on tonight? The one I am watching, Obama is rambling and using 7 “ands” per vapid sentence. McCain seems calm and knowledgeable, is addressing the questions in a straightforward manner and eviscerating Obama.

Not only is McC answering the question he is teaching tactics if you listen carefully. McC is a military man and Obama telegraphs what he is going to do..some military man..I wonder how many military will walk if he gets elected? We got our Marine Times today and the military is overwhelmingly in favor of McC not Obama..some go for him but nearly but the military does not trust Obama.Obama is a windbag. but the sad thing is there are lots of idiots out there who will take in this pap..

I noticed the same. That's why I turned it off. This is a setup. Somebody came up with questions, wrote them on cards and gave them to audience members withoutthem having seen the questions before. I realize they could just be nervous being on TV. But, please, if YOU wrote the question wouldn't you know how to read it correctly?
