Actually, the “Iran-Contra” connection of McCain will be viewed as a POSITIVE to any but extreme leftists. McCain was on the board of an organization fighting America’s enemies, Obama is in bed WITH America’s declared enemies. The cases are just “slightly” different.
The Contras had significant support from Mossad and Israel while the Sandinistas enjoyed similar support from the Palestinian terrorists. The ADL probably just had their liberal panties in a wad because someone actually was killing commies.
