Obama has enjoyed defense played by his sycophants in the media and the general reluctance of his opponents to attack him hard on his obvious skeletons (ie Ayers, Wright, etc..) for fear of being branded a “racist.”
Well, what happens when someone finally drops the fear and lets lose?
All Obama knows how to do is whine. He can’t take a shot. When Hillary finally got around to attacking him he dropped like a rock in the primaries and that was with it obvious that Obama had the nomination all but locked up, with his lead built on party caucuses dominated by the far left looney toons who love him. When run of the mill everyday Democrats, who are more centrist, middle class, and still love their country got to vote, Obama went down in flames. That was with him as the presumptive nominee and the party leaders basically calling for Hillary to drop out and for the party to wrap up the nomination.
I think a fair number of voters in general are receptive to the idea of Obama, the image he presents. But I doubt they will be so once they learn a little about him and see him for what he truly is: the most far left presidential candidate ever.
“Who is the real Obama?” is a devastating question for his campaign. I guess he figured McCain wouldn’t be willing to take off the gloves and start swinging away at him.

Obama should have never been a candidate for POTUS; nor should he be in the Senate. There are so many things about him and his background that just scream “UNAMERICAN”.
Did he really say this? This is almost everything I’d hoped to hear from McCain. Another poster suggested McCain was holding back until after the bailout passed; he didn’t want to throw bombs and pull a “Pelosi.” OK, maybe the bailout stinks but I could see that logic if you supported it.
But I didn’t know for sure he’d actually go through with it. No, he didn’t attack 0bama. What he did was FINALLY TELL THE TRUTH about 0bama!!!!!
McCain needs to repeat this everywhere!!!! Again and again!
I hope John understands Palin is not the only one on the ticket. We need 2 strong fighters for America.

But pretend it is $10 trillion and he gets 8 years in office, where does the USA get an extra $10 trillion during a financial crisis and still maintain a standing army? Sheesh! That's why he's not perceived as credible on the economy.

It’s about time McCain hit Obama where he lives! Good for him and we need lots more of it. He’s totally right when he says the American people don’t know who he is. If they knew they would all chip in for a plane ticket to send him and his lovely wife for a long vacation in a “tiny country” somewhere.
Mark Warner is doing the same thing here in Virginia. The big lie works because the media amplifies it. McCain just needs to keep responding.
I hear Todd walked in on the little guy and Lindsey, got pissed, and kicked the leg humper out the door and told Johnnie that Sarah want’s little Johnnie to stand tall cause she and Todd has his back.
I also heard Todd told Liberman to quite sniffing around Johnnie and to quite meeting him at the airport or get his ass kicked all the way back to Trollville.
Now just what part of this story isn't possible?
