Nebraska SPLITS its “Electoral College” votes. IF Obama wins in a single Nebraska Congressional District: HE gets ONE more Electoral College VOTE.

I read the number was 28 000. These states are being underestimated by McCain

UGH...I missed it! Went walking with hubby and we were praying up a storm like Elijah did! Keep praying and fasting folks. Keep your appointed time for prayer until election rolls around. If you haven’t signed up please do!! We are going to need every prayer and every vote we can get our hands on!! There is POWER in prayer!! Do you know how many folk were there?

You’re correct according to the Asheville paper. A city that fanies itself as the Appalachian Berkley. I still say Sarah would blow those numbers away in the same town.

What was the total estimate of crowd there? Any idea? I’m hoping for more than 6,000 like it has been reported!

It was that and more (IMO) The music hall they used filled up quick. Quite a few got turned away. The lines were LONG (amazing on such short notice).
There “Obama-bots” looked like a bunch of college kids. A few snuck in and tried to shout down Johanns and Palin but were quickly shounted back at and escorted out.

Omaha??? Palin is campaigning in Omaha?? WTF?! If she gets national news coverage, she's campaigning everywhere. Her stops are not just local events.
To: RoseofTexas
They filled the Music Hall at our Civic Auditorium as well as an overflow area. I waited in line beginning at 1 pm and she didn't take the stage until after 7, so it was quite a long day, but EVERYONE was so energized and she really had the crowd on her side. There are a lot of college kids in Omaha, so I'm sure that's where a lot of his support lies, but there was a large group of volunteers for Palin who were college kids and they were plenty fired up, too. It was a GREAT day!

Rumor has it that OsAMA attracted 28,000 on his recent rally. Don't know if it's true or not since I haven't seen any article mention that many. I was praying for a crowd of over 10,000 for her. Unfortunately the polls are so screwed that it has come down to polling by crowd size. I don't believe any poll anymore.
