How screwed are you when a Muslim has the moral high ground?

Pork and Christmas cards do not kill people. There are three pharmacies on every corner. All of the grocery stores have them. Even Wal-Mart has them. Go somewhere else.

We’re going to have to deal with them - sooner or later. Better sooner. What part of “Get the F**K out of the UK - NOW!” might they not understand?

When it comes to life, people should have the right to stand FOR it.

She already has 2 kids, and yet she thinks it’s a good idea to not use her usual form of contraception? I have a suggestion to her. Marry someone so your kids have a stable home life, and then find a mentor who can teach you a little common sense.
Sheesh.

"Her concern is that the policy could deter teenage girls from seeking the morning-after pill."

Punish the Muslim with a fine or punish the teenagers with babies?

I doubt that there was but one or two pharmacies. Your statement above may be true in the US, but not at all true in most parts of the UK.

I have to really wonder if the pharmacist refused the pill because of his religion, or if it was because she was a woman who gave birth to a child a month ago, and the pill could cause serious harm to her, and her child. It doesn't say in the article if her monthly cycles had returned or not, a pretty critical fact. Nor does it say if she was breastfeeding the child or not, as studies on the long term effects of such pills on babies hasn't been investigated yet.
But you can bet if she did suffer side effects, she'd be seeking compensation pretty damn quick.

Um, excuse me, but it’s recommended highly that you don’t resume sexual relations until at least 6 weeks out.

How screwed are you when a Muslim has the moral high ground? He's a pill-pusher. Neither he nor the Catholic nor anyone else may substitute their judgment for the decision of the patient and her prescribing physician.
It's none of his damned business.

Yes, if this were a fundamentalist Christian chemist, then the full weight of HM government would come down on him or her.

Prediction: the Neville Chamberlain impulse will prevail. A Sharia quarter will be declared and a Slut Quarter will be declared. “Keep to your districts, British citizens!”

Ruth Johnson, 33, who has two children, including a month-old baby, had not been using her usual method of contraception with her fiancée. Maybe she needs to PLAN AHEAD!
