It is a sad commentary that these disaffected Clintonistas are showing more backbone in taking on Obama and supporting Mccain/Palin than many paid-up republicans.

Because if it isn't, we will lose our country to a communist/socialist agenda and we ain't NEVER gonna to recover. GOT IT?

Too late. I guess you didn't hear that McCain voted for the $700,000,000,000 give away to Wall Street and Bush has already signed it into law? The GOP have become the new socialists.

For months I said McCain would do his part to usher in American socialism, but I never realized how soon it was coming nor that Bush would also play such a major role moving us to the left.

WRONG! Here’s a PUMA video:

Just watched the video. Thanks. That video certainly should have convinced you that I am correct. This is entirely personal because Hillary supporters were spurned by their party and buried by Obama. Nothing, not one thing, in that video would leave me to believe that these Hillary supporters do not believe in everything that Hillary does. They have not changed their positions or philosophy, they're just mad. If you think they are "converts", you are hopelessly naive.

We’re letting a few wedge issues divide us,

Right, those niggling little wedge issues like Life and Freedom and Limited Government. Sheeesh.

“Right, those niggling little wedge issues like Life and Freedom and Limited Government. Sheeesh.”

Once again, have you been to their site and read their thoughts? Didn’t think so. Let me fill you in based on your insightful response to me:

*They’re for freedom and Hussein scares the bejeebers out of them, enough for some of them to realize the party they thought they knew does not exist.
*As for life, if you mean abortion, their opinions split on that subject as do many Freepers, in case you haven’t noticed.
*As for limited govt - you must be joking. That train left the station before many of us were born, me included.

Obviously they have substantial differences with the general Republican worldview otherwise they wouldn’t be in a different party.
OK some of them are probably suffering from soreloseritis. But many, probably most, I believe, are concerned Americans genuinely worried about the implications of an Obama presidency to the extent that they are prepared to cross over.
The PUMAs may be our last line of defence and we are hardly in a position to look this gift horse in the mouth.
There is something that has struck me on reading this thread. The Obama campaign has reached an extraordinary degree of internet subtlety in spreading dissension among their various opponents. I get the vague whiff of Obama plants (not you I hasten to add).

Their PUMA video says nothing about Hillary because their issue has nothing to do with her. The video shows they don’t want the far left socialist program of Soros and his puppets Dean and Pelosi. It shows they won’t support a regime that is anti-constitutional, free speech suppressing, vote hijacking and America-hating. They don’t want a corrupt Chicago terrorist-loving, US of the KKK mentored, messianic complex freak for President. The Dems and BOTs think that’s just fine. They obviously don’t. Their mantra is country before Party. And they don’t care what Democrats or Republicans think of them. They’ve moved on.
