That is funny; I am studying the picts trying to figure out what they did; decided they must have filed them down/made them shorter. And was thinking; well. . .'good idea'; they do look much better.
Not until I read your post; did I realize the 'before' was the 'AFTER'.
So, yes, think the old ones look better; in fact he looks a whole lot better in the first earlier picture! Of course, he was a 'bit' younger; but not much younger. . .
