When “foreign policy experience” is flaunted — Palin should challenge Biden to name any international agreements that he was instrumental in negotiating. Sitting in a committee room, debating the fine points of “policy” isn't the same as actually implementing a policy — Palin has experience in implementation & she needs to stress that.
Also, Biden has a lengthy track record of being wrong about foreign policy matters. Palin should throw that in his face.
Palin needs to walk in and compare Pelosi’s remarks today prior to the vote to Clintons yesterday on MTP (where he says dems should have heeded repub warnings on fannie and freddie) then say thank you very much, game over and walk out!
I am waiting for someone to explain for me why her comments about Russia are considered "dumb, loopy, typical woman" etc., but the very same used by Israel to justify its need for our assistance, with weapons sales and such, in legitimate defense of its survival is not. I'd like for her to perhaps ask Joe to explain that to all of us.
“Imagine hes threatening one of your children - you have to beat him to save that child.”
I say she should imagine that he’s a moose and she’s outside on a cold winter morning, just hankering for a barbecue.
Biden is a master at MSU (making sh*t up) to help his arguments, and is known to plaigiarize.
If she let’s some of Joe’s made up facts go by without saying anything, he wins (no one in the MSM will call him on any falsehoods after the fact)
If she smacks down any falsehoods DURING the debate, Biden has nowhere to go.
I suspect the McCain camp is fully aware of Joe Gaffe-din’s weaknesses. I hope to God they exploit them.
Also, I suspect greater than a 90% chance that Joe attempts to get in a “Senator, you’re no John Kennedy” zinger.
I’m guessing he’ll try to play on the “see Russia from Alaska” quote.
If Sarah is prepared with her counters, we could see an impressive backfire on Joe. If she is prepared and speaks from her heart, she will be able to connect. Minimize the canned answers.
It’s a very important debate.
With Katie, Gov. Palin was labeled as unknowing when she answered Katie's accusation that McCain caused the crisis by deregulation. Palin mentioned McCain's legislation for regulating Fred/Fan, Katie asked again-Palin mentioned that again. Katie insisted a third time Palin LIST several instances, when she had mentioned the biggest one. Palin said "I'll find some and get back to ya." I saw that as a humorous putdown to Perky Katie and her Stalinist grilling. The media saw its own reflectiion and labeled her stupid.

she has to push the idea that NO SHE IS NOT A WASHINGTON INSIDER...and that is exactly why her views and her values and her experiences are needed in DC....
