The cashier told her the order was on the house, so Palin tossed her cash into a donation jar outside the window.
Would Hillary do that? No, she'd reach in and take the money that was there out.

It must have been amazing to be at the game today at the Spectrum. The Spectrum is so small and intimate, unlike the cavernous Wachovia Center.
I loved seeing Sarah Palin in the Phillies jacket and wearing the Flyers hat.
Like Kate Smith and "God Bless America", Sarah's visit to Philly may be the luck we need for some parades down Broad Street this year, and for more than one sport!!!

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Let Sarah be Sarah!
Let her loose and don’t over-prep her or she’ll freeze up.
If they can let her be herself, she’ll pulverize Biden.
If they don’t she’ll have problems.

A grinder is a hoagie or sub that is put in the oven to melt the cheese.
It is also what four years of an Obama presidency would mean to our country.

Sarah, your steaks are ready.
I guess she left the name Sarah with her order, but that just sounds so ....
like Sarah.

...import their buns...
no such thing as a steak on a “bun” - it’s a roll - preferably Amoroso’s - it’s all about the bread.

Of course it's a roll -- my Southern vocabulary got the best of me. To a Southerner, a roll is a dinner roll, the little round breads you get with dinner - like a Parker House roll. Anything you put something into (other than sliced bread), whether it's round, square or oval, whether the contents are hamburger, cold cuts, or the innards of a cheesesteak, is a
bun.
You got to remember that (1) I'm a Southerner born and bred, our last Yankee ancestor was born in New York City in 1802 (2) I haven't been in the Northeast other than a couple of short business trips since 1977.

AOL has 500 photos and she looks friendly and confident and they all look smitten. I notice when she speaks to people-even unidentified people on the street she seems engaged in what they are saying.

The roll is the secret ingredient. There is something in the water, pronounced warder that makes them impossible to duplicate. All the best steak shops get them fresh from the bakery every day. Sorry to say but the rolls used in other parts of the country are just oversized hot dog rolls.

People come up with the silliest reasons to judge politicians. Who cares how he likes his cheesesteak, or even whether he likes it at all?
Surrogate endpoints are used in many situations. A color change in
Phenolphthalein, eg, is sometimes used to indicate neutral pH in acid-base titrations. See also comment #79.

If you enjoy the taste of an old shoe on a roll.

As opposed to, “Messiah, your Arugula has been prepared for you, please have your food taster pickup the order”.

Worse, with lettuce and tomatoes.
He made a hoagie out of his cheese steak

Im sure some aid pays all her bills.
Then why has it been reported so often that she has stiffed a waitress?

You are too kind. You beat me. I was fumbling trying to remember the huntin license quote, saw yours, and had to improvise.

Kerry's huntin license quote as one of those things that stuck with me. Well, let me put it another way. It's one of those things that REALLY pissed me off.
I remember it like I remember Reagan saying “Trust but verify” and my Father telling me “Nobody owes you a living”.
My Father made me the Conservative I am today, and people like Kerry and Obama steel my resolve when they come out with their Liberal drivel.
I go through life wondering how normal people, who have the gift of living in this wonderful country, can stand to be ruled by the Liberal Elite. They give up their souls so easily, it makes me fear for our ultimate survival as a free people.
Of course I'm the kind of guy who gets a lump in his throat and a tear in his eye when he sees the flag unfurled, hears a patriotic tune or watches a Military flyover. I feel like a relic until I come to a forum like this and realize I am not alone.
BTW - I cracked up when I clicked on your links. You are a fast thinker... (and a much quicker typist that I). LOL
