(More info at the source including PDF of the NRA's letter)

He's scared as the truth about his real positions comes out.

I expect the next NRA flood of ads will include the Rep. Hastings remarks from this morning.

Join the NRA, send in those checks, they’re the ones fighting for you. Then there are those that just because they don’t agree 100% they go off in a snit instead of looking at the NRAs record and what they’ve stood for from the beginning.

Do you see your Congressmen standing up like this?? No you don’t.

... pressing them to refuse to air an ad from the National Rifle Association.
***That’s how he operates. That’s how he has kept the birth certificate thing from surfacing. He actually met with the top execs at Fox News, and probably other media outlets. Ya think he wasn’t this forceful?

Could you please include the URLs to the story on the Washington post? I got onto the post web site and searched for all the keywords separately and all together “National Rifle Association Political Victory Fund (”NRA-PVF”)” I cannot find the article you are writing about. Though equally disturbing I found an article about Obama wanting to raise the tax on guns and ammo 500% no not a typo five hundred percent, WTF I love to shoot I’m a law abiding citizen, I pay my taxes and if it costs me $10 to shoot one round, its just one more thing I cant afford.

... conflates Obama's anti-gun stances of the 1990s ...

Utter BS. The gun grabbing record that Obama is suddenly pretending wasn't his isn't some outgrown position from the distant 90s, which is as far back as his zero experience track record goes, it was his on record position through most of this year.

Obama the state legislator voted in 2003 to ban and confiscate most rifles and shotguns, even single shots. Illinois SB1195.

That same year, Obama voted to prevent 18-20 year old adults from acquiring an FOID card in Illinois, which is required to legally purchase or possess any firearm or ammunition whatsoever. Effectively a total ban on gun possession for those adults. Illinois SB2163.

In the US Senate in 2005, Obama voted to ban all centerfire rifle ammunition. US S.397, Kennedy Amendment.

And in 2008 the Heller case gave Obama the oppurtunity to show his modern, less extreme position.. and he used it to voice his support for local governments like DC, Chicago and NYC to ignore the 2nd Amendment and outright ban any or all types of firearm.

Barry Hussein not only supports BANNING guns he has used the word "BAN" to profess his positions on many occasions.

If he denies it now HE IS A LIAR!!!

I hope the NRA makes 20 more ads about his stance on guns! This is truely unAmerican to demand something you don’t like be taken down with threats like this! Wake up America we do not need Obama browshirts telling us what we can and can not say!

O’bomber would have better luck if news here was government controlled like Pravda. Most MSM news is doing the job of carrying water for O’bomber, but some are not. In the battleground state of Colorado I heard about four NRA ads against O’bomber today on KOA850 radio. These ads pulled no punches. McCain could take some lessons.

I assume that Obama will be sending a similar letter to Spanish-language television stations who air his Rush=McCain=Bush ad.

I’ve not yet seen video of Obama’s Pennsylvania(?) speech, but I understand it exists. If it sounds the way it reads, I think it would make pretty abundantly clear where Obama stands on the issue. No need for out-of-context quotes. Show Obama’s line about “Even if I wanted to, I wouldn’t have the votes in Congress” in its proper context. Then ask, “Is Obama really going to protect Second Amendment rights? As long he doesn’t have enough votes in Congress to do otherwise.”
