You’re wrong about Fitzgerald. He’s been the scourge of corrupt Illinois politicians (gee, are there any other kind?) since the day he took office. Thank you for bringing him aboard, Sen. Peter Fitzgerald. The guy now sitting in your senate seat isn’t half the man you are.

Fitzgerald has been pretty good at indicting corrupt Republicans, yes. And he railroaded Scooter Libby with bogus charges.
A highly placed source in Chicago told me in May that the Gov was going down and that others may go down with him. He also said that Rezko preferred to be in jail than walking the streets. Maybe that explains why Hussein is digging in in FL and wants to be out of sight.
This should be big news in the Pres. campaign. Chicago is so currupt..how could BO be clean?

I sure hope you’re right. I suppose it depends on whether Fitz can block it until after the election.
Bush already had major trouble firing US Attorneys who weren’t doing their job, and he never managed to explain it to the public. So I doubt whether he can afford to replace Fitz.
