My "guess" is, this is a power play, a give-away. The dems are already working out ways to "save" peoples homes. Those who can't afford them...

Yeah. I've heard some of the things the democrats put in the bail out plan, including bailing out those who can't afford their homes, and a bit of Green to boot - requiring houses currently being built under the plan to be "green"..
Who knows what else, but if I know the democrats, we'll be "saving" a lot more than the economy...
