At the very least, I think Sen. McCaskill needs to vote "Present" when this one comes around, considering:
The 50 Richest Members of Congress
14. Sen. Claire McCaskill (D-Mo.)
$19.42 million
McCaskill watched her net worth grow in 2007, increasing more than 24 percent over her estimated $15.66 million total in 2006.
Among McCaskills major assets: approximately 270 limited partnerships in affordable housing real estate and a handful of enterprise trust investment funds held by her husband that showed a combined increase of approximately $2.7 million in value from last year.
Her spouse purchased a Kansas City, Mo., housing bond listed in the over $1 million category.
The Senators husband also identified a loan of at least $1 million, the only liability listed by the couple, from Enterprise Bank.
She has no business voting on legislation that will affect her personally, not that that has stopped Dodd, Biden, any number of the others previously.
sorry but I’m going to have to respectfully disagree-drop this in your browser and check it out:
http://www.yappinyinzers.com/ (it’s a riot)
And from Wikipedia FWIW the definition of “yinzer”
“Pittsburgh English, popularly known as Pittsburghese, is the dialect of American English spoken by many residents of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA and surrounding Western Pennsylvania.”
-we should have gone! only a little over an hour away!
Gutsy lady ping.
I could not be prouder of her. I just know how slime work. I will be anxious to see how many MSM will report this.
Well I don’t see yuns state flag on your about pages and I know at least one Pittsburgh area band sang “Hey Joe where yuns going with that gun in your hand?”
But I find it interesting that yuns both have the same comment.
The stupid thing is if they keep pushing and radicalizing both sides, where do they think this is going to lead? Are they really ready for that fight? You could not pay me to be on any "news" source with the way they are leading this country down this path.
that would have been fun to see.
I wonder how long it’ll take for the msm to label this fine lady as a “plant”.
Poor thing.
I bet opposition research is being conducted right now.
i am a native pittsburgher; yunz/yuns is also correct.
why is the video messed up? sounds as though they cut up some of that tape. She sounds as thought said “Wil (cut) Ayers”
We need more people to say this more often.
“Bah...what does this woman know? Shes probably never even been on Meet the Press. /s”
And woe unto this brave woman if her unmarried daughter is pregnant...But, hey, as The One’s mentors in southside Chicago might add, “nuttin’ personal...it jes business.”
KUDOS to that woman!!!
We need more people to say this more often.
Down the Mon Valley, up the Allegheny and down the Ohio, walk into any pub and I guarantee what yuns will hear is "YUNS".
Ask this question, "Did yuns guys watch that ass whuppen that the iggles put on the stillers yestaday"?
They will think you are from Joe Willie Namath's home town of Beaver Falls, or Joe Montana's town of New Eagle or Donora or Monongahela, or Jim Kelly's town of East Brady... well I think you get the picture.
This is what EVERY Republican needs to do when they are on TV, shame them to their audience, show their biases, because most of the people watching think they are watching “news” not a PR organ of the dem party.
Every appearance, every time, remind them of the stories they’re not covering.
Good job on her part. We need 10,000 more of her, hammering the media for their blatent bias. It’s obvious which side they’re on, and they aren’t even the least bit covert about it.
I'd like to shake this lady's hand, thank her and buy her a beer.
Maybe you’ll get your chance yet!
It’s time for the reporters to start feeling more pain like this.
And here in Tennessee, it would be "Shame on y'all - All Y'all!"
