One could argue that each and every member of Congress is complicit in this criminal activity.

I believe that the RICO statutes were written for this kind of activity. I am all for arresting the entire Congress, confiscate all THEIR assets and throw them all in jail until they rot.

If Washington insists on raping us again, with additional taxes and debt, then the budget must be cut. No earmarks, no foreign aid, no UN contributions and defund EVERY single program put in place in the last ten years.

Where are the lawyers on FR to arrest Congress?

I agree. The Loss of RICO was HUGE. And Serious. (nod to FReeper Lore) Had RICO been in effect today.... oh it would be a bloodbath. They Nerfed it (Gamer term) for a REASON. Fist one to come to mind is $$$$$$$ and lots of it. The second, to avoid prosecution. The third, to make Prosecution of such crimes far far more difficult, enough so to make them untenable to even consider. I am thinking that the criminals, and those they paid off have gone so far past WAY TOO FRIGGIN far that the cost of Nailing as many of the rats as we can catch that they might well be toast. And I mean from EVERY political party. I don't care if the person in question is a Repubbie or a Dim... heads gotta roll this time, or they will do it to us again.

So, what recourse is left if RICO is gone. DBM won’t expose the crooks in Congress - unless they are Repubs. I guess it is up to the Conservatives to collect information, spread it across the internet and confront candidates with one simple question:

“When are you going to stop screwing us?”
