No, they sample a large percent of “undecided/independents” too... meaning it skews dem by 20%. They are a bunch of dirt bags. If you see Katy Curic- your first thought should be dirt bag. Larry King - dirt bag. Brokaw - dirtbag.
All these folks are dirt bags. Why they believe what they believe? I can’t imagine. Alien abduction? Anal probing? It certainly was the case for that dirt bag Katy Curic.
Wait until the next ‘likely voter’ poll by Gallup. I’ll bet McCain will be up on Obama, like the last one showed on the 29th of August.
Is anybody here besides me signed up to work the polls?
Gore was pretty much in control in Sept of 2000 and after the debates, Bush took over. Then by election day, the race tightened.
Rasmussen has the Dem advantage to be +5. If you use that partisan quota, then the poll would be tied. Which is what Zogby, Gallup, and Rasmussen have it at.
I signed up to be a precinct captain!!
for my part, I’ve been donating ...several times....I’ve signed up for email alerts...I’m going to participate in the “womans’ call in night or whatever it is tomorrow....I will be doing some volunteering...maybe for the mass call in on Saturday before the election...
RCP’s latest average is dead even, with an extremely close electoral count (273 Obama to 265 McCain).
I’d be happier if McCain’s lead was still five or six points, but I’m not too concerned with the numbers as they stand. This has been an incredibly fortunate week for 0bama, and yet he’s only ahead by a tiny bit even in the most generous polls. McCain’s got plenty of time and opportunity to win this thing, IMHO.
They added some of their “special sauce”.
Bingo. And then the ads should run the next day continuing the linkage.
Unfortunately, the headlines get reported of an Obama lead, never any internals analysis, and that begins to shape the outcome.
It’s been a bad week for America and a great week for Obama. Next week will be a bad week for the messiah as team McCain exposes obama and Raines as puppets of Freddie Mac and Fannie May. I would have loved it if they had gone after them a couple of days ago. If they had the wisdom of freepers. However McCain and his team are professional politicians and it takes them a couple of days to figure things out. They’ve bombed so far in their response to the financial mess. I’m sure they’ll wake up and try a new approach this weekend. If not, then I’d worry a bit.
still have the debates. I believe the first one is next Friday. McCain just has to try to keep from looking like a boring old man.
He did a good job with his convention speech, now he just need to keep it up and practice.
