Second, we’d have run out of MODS by now, as they would have shot themselves through the head, being forced to read every post on a thread they care nothing about.

The MODS are fair, in that they represent a variance in personality, opinion, and bias, much like the members of FREE REPUBLIC.

Each election, FR has become clogged, and each time, Mr. Robinson has increased his staff, and equipment to deal with the growth, and the problems.
We too, are responsible for Free Republic, by how we conduct ourselves, and our ability to deal with ill-intentioned visitors.
I’d rather he be able to, and fight the trolls that come (and they come all the time. Many of us, including yourself, have been at this for years and years) than have him lose that privilege, just to make it ‘easy’ for me.
