If you have not done this already please send it to the McCain campaign and keep the cache of this URL and a copy of the article, it is MSNBC after all, they can delete everything in their archives that can be used against Obama.

My rain gif is about 4 inches square and 4 frames. So I have to keep copy and pasting it over and over on each frame. Can’t enlarge it or the rain would be huge. But I can make a larger size on a TP gif.

I seem to recall that Obama recently stepped in it with Pakistan as well - right after a security briefing. I’m glad to see the McCain campaign’s response - strong yet diplomatic. It’s a breath of fresh air.

The other interesting thing about this is that it shows that the Iraqis have realized that an Obama admin is not in Iraqs best interest and are outing The One to keep it from happening.

This is a total load of crap. Did you see the pics from Obama’s plane? “President” is stitched in to his seat back. Also his Presidential Seal? Hmmm? Can’t top that can you? He was sitting in the “Presidential” seat on his campaign jet when he flew to this secret negotiation. That should be enough authority for the negotiation...

Isn't it though? The tone is perfect. Kudos to whoever wrote it.sarcasm?

If the White House or the State Department is forced to comment on this, the fur will really start flying.
You mean if the White House decides to comment on this........and they should. This is way outside the realm of politics. These are his troops. This is his Numero Uno job. ..... CIC.

Isn’t this a matter for the sitting President to handle? And why isn’t the Attorney-General acting on this? It would not be a matter for McCain as he is just a candidate at this time???

I just want to point out that this article is admitting he asked Zaberi this in JUNE, by PHONE.
THe current claim is that he also mentioned it in July, in Person.
Now, the fact that Obama has admitted the charge already makes the discussion of WHEN, or HOW MANY TIMES, he did this moot.
But just be careful not to site this article as a “refutation” of the Obama denial of the July meeting. It’s evidence, but not conclusive.
The argument then is first, that Obama has already admitted the crime, and we are just talking about how often he commited the crime.
Second, if he admits doing it in June by phone, there is little reason to think Zebari is LYING about Obama saying it again in Person in July. In fact, it would make NO SENSE for Obama to raise the issue and admit it in June, and then to NOT raise the same issue in person in July.

ARe you serious?
Rush has the luxury of not having to making damn sure there is more than “he said, she said” before making a public statement.
It would have been irresponsible for McCain to just jump up and accuse without tracking down the facts. AS it was, I think his response was quick -
Good gravy....

Just remember, that article is about a phone call in June, the Post article is about a direct meeting in July.
To: Roscoe Karns
Game on.
Just remember more people are worried about the economy then Obamas poor foreign policy skills.

Yeah, I realize I am a pessimist, but why do I sense that this is going to go nowhere? If it requires someone with brass in the WH or state dept, might as well hang it up (unless Cheney knows).
