Hard to believe NC is a toss up.
To: kellynla
Put Virginia and N Carolina in McCains camp.
To: kellynla
I think its going to be a landslide. Its going to be clear-cut.

Another thread says MN is now a toss up or maybe slightly
for McCain...

He's wrong about North Carolina. Its safely Red. Virginia leans McCain and so does New Mexico. Colorado, Minnesota, Michigan, Pennsylvania and New Hampshire remain tossups.

Why would Iowa go for Obama?
To: kellynla
Zogby is on crack if he thinks N.C. is too close to call...I think NH is going McCain as well. The rest of this looks pretty accurate.
To: kellynla
Indiana should be solidly red. OTOH just heard that Obama went from 12 up to 2 up in Washington. If so then maybe this wont be as close as thought.

Indiana leans McCain. I don't see it going for Obama.

Indiana is NOT a toss up. Daniels is almost +20 over Thompson in the governor’s race. This state is reliably republican in presidential elections. 0bama is wasting his time here as McCain will win by 8-10.

I believe Zogby has a history of inflating the Dem vote until right before election day.

I don't get this. From his site Zog puts McCain over 50% in Virginia yet puts it in too close to call. In PA he has McCain up by 5 points, but has it as too close to call. Now this is a “Special Sauce” Zogby poll, but I would at least expect some consistency. If he makes MI solid blue he should make VA and PA solid red.

I believe Zogby has a history of inflating the Dem vote until right before election day. Bingo. He always has Dems inflated right before he really needs to make the right call. He is in the pocket of Obama and understands if Obama is behind no one will give campaign contributions to this imploding campaign.

(Obama is the Democrats guy. They bought the ticket, now they must take the ride.)
