Oh wow... The Kansas City Red Star is still in business? I had no idea. Since I turned off my land line, I haven't gotten any calls to subscribe. And none of my neighbors get it delivered...

Of course they couldn't get this right... It wasn't "pit bull with lipstick." It was a joke. "What's the difference between a Hockey Mom and a pit bull? Lipstick."

Let me explain this to to the workers at the KC Red Star. The pit bulls don't wear the lipstick. The Hockey Moms do. But it wasn't a literal comparison either. No, instead it was a joke to imply just how tenacious a Hockey Mom can be. But I wouldn't expect any of the loyal workers at the KC Red Star to get it.

The great and wonderful Oz RHONDA CHRISS LOKEMAN wouldn't be caught dead at a hockey game or a soccer game or at any other organized game of a sport in which kids participate.
