On April 9, 2008, Air America Radio CEO Charlie Kireker issued a press release stating that Rhodes was leaving the network, in the aftermath of an indefinite suspension following a live appearance at a San Francisco comedy club sponsored by one of her Clear Chanel affiliates, in which she made derogatory references to U.S. Senator and presidential candidate Hillary Clinton and former Congresswoman and Democratic Vice Presidential candidate Geraldine Ferraro, specifically calling both “*ucking Whores.”

“”Geraldine Ferraro turned out to be David Duke in drag ... What a whore Geraldine Ferraro is! She’s such a *ucking whore! I wanna see her have to stand beside her husband at one of those mandatory ‘I have sinned against you; I’m a whore’ kind of a press conference. Mr. Ferraro should have to stand next to his whore of a wife ... Hillary is a big *ucking whore, too. You know why she’s a big *ucking whore? Because her deal is always, ‘Read the fine print, asshole!’”

On April 10, 2008, Nova M Radio announced Rhodes would join its radio network, and on April 14, 2008 the Randi Rhodes show returned to the airwaves from her old studios at WJNO (Clear Channel), West Palm Beach.

Rhodes and Ed Schultz are both very twisted individuals. Don't let your heart be troubled though, their audience is small and getting smaller. I would bet a good portion of what they have left are Republicans that tune in for the entertainment value. I know I do from time to time. I love hearing them gnash their teeth in agony as they watch Obama self destruct.
