My Name is African Swahili - NOT EXACTLY, your name is Arabic and 'Baraka' (from which Barack came) means 'blessed' in that language. Actually Barack a form of Barach is a biblical name and Hebrew, however it does mean "blessed". Burach was an unusual first name but I've seen it several times while researching 1600-1800 New England.
Has anyone done research on these claims? Just wondering as this is how the book burning misinformation on Sarah started with a list on the internet.
