McCain stealth attack on Obama!

Si, Mohamed Obama!
To: ricks_place
John McCains campaign is running a Spanish language ad in battleground states that blames Barack Obama and Senate Democrats for the failure of attempts to overhaul the nations immigration laws.Crap. And things were going so well.

McCain is on to something. The May Day demonstrations organized by the Democratic-allied Service Employees union destroyed the image of the majority of immigrants who come to work, save, and educate their kids.

I was hoping McCain wouldn't remind me how much I disagree with his amnesty attempt. Oh well, at least it's in Spanish.
I'm voting Palin, and the other guy! LOL

Obama only wants his Muslim terrorist friends allowed in this country so they can join up with his domestic terrorist friends (e.g Ayers, Dohrn...) to blow stuff up.

this should sit well with forum members as an unpleasant dose of the policy-reality of McCain-elect.
To: Mamzelle
bold? I guess you could call it that. It certainly takes some nerve.

This is the second phase of the news media attack on McCain.
They are now targeting the base.
I bet you see stories out the follow week from the newsmedia saying that McCain really didn’t want Palin, but Lieberman, or that Palin has a cousin sister-in-law’s son who is gay.
The only chance the bad guys have is to divide the base.

The only chance the bad guys have is to divide the base. But McCain is the one who put out the ad. So if anybody is trying to divide the base, it would be McCain.

Read the thread about Barone's piece on McCain getting inside Obama's OODA loop. Then go back and look at this in that context.

The brilliance of September will fade in October if the new ads are indicative of the coming message.
McCain can’t help himself and mainstream America does not trust him on this issue.

Don’t be an idiot. Your choice is McCain/Palin or Obama. Choose ye this day....
To: AmericaUnited
I’m the idiot? Am I the one putting out ads reminding people I’m soft on illegal immigration?

The press reports that their efforts were 'poison pills' that made immigration reform fail, Well, good for them! (this time)

McCain better not overplay his hand with the base. The name McShamnesty didn’t come out of nowhere.

elect mccain/palin and stop this stuff after the election
To: Texas Eagle
I think McCain is being proactive and taking away Obama’s biggest weapon.
I could have sworn I saw something here on FR that said that Bill Clinton told Obama to start talking about McCain and immigration in order to divide up the conservative base which would offset the Palin support and enthusiasm.
Does anyone else remember reading that?
