Interesting poll results, don't you think?

I'll tell ya, it seems to me that Greta is really liking Gov. Palin and she is giving her good support. She basically just told the Washington Compost reporter that Palin’s per diem charge was 1/5th of the previous Gov. of Alaska.

I can't believe that 32% of those polled think Obama understands their daily problems. I guess all you need to say is "Bush sucks", repeat it for nearly two years, and one-third of the country ends up believing it.

Thirty-two percent think Obama understands their problems? Must be more arugula eaters out there than I thought.

Another possibility is that the poll is slightly(ahem)skewed. Polls are not to be trusted. I too find it strange that 32 percent of Americans would think a man not even raised in America through his formative years could even come close to understanding the everyday problems of ordinary people. Not to mention he is one of the wealthy elite.

I am mostly curious about the ignorance of the Democrats. It is obvious to anyone, even one with a mere morsel of daily news exposure, that Sarah Palin is popular.
Why then do the libs think they gain by attacking her? It couldn’t be dumber, but I love it.
I just wonder what ol’ Hillary is doing? What a dilemma she faces!! She can’t want Barry elected, but it is equally a problem for her if Sarah is veep. I smile every time I think about it; a Clinton in a lose-lose situation.
To: 2ndDivisionVet
that is why Palin is a clear and present danger to all liberals and it’s not just about one political campaign. This is about the future.

Can someone explain why today’s fox poll has McCain up by only 3% 45-42, while their internal number show him up 11 among all men and 4 among all women? Shouldn’t that net roughly 7% lead?
To: frogjerk
I'll tell ya, it seems to me that Greta is really liking Gov. Palin and she is giving her good support. Her Hillary-supporting husband came out for McCain last week.

No disrespect to our potential VP, but she is 100% total babe.

Why then do the libs think they gain by attacking her? It's the only thing they know how to do-- tear down the goodness in life and replace it with sleaze and greed.

you posted," I just wonder what ol Hillary is doing?"
I think she's getting herself ready to be called to the Vice President postion by Obama. Joe is going to be shoved under the bus in favor of Hillary...when Obama meets with Bill Clinton tomorrow the deal will be struck....Hillary is Obama's only chance to be President.
and good old Joe even made the statement that Hillary would have been a better choice than him...according to Joe, Hillary is qualified to be president.

Interesting indeed.
Among independent voters, Palins lead over Obama on this score widens to 13 points (35 percent to 22 percent).
The bottom of one ticket is beating the snot out the guy at the top of the other ticket.....
Obama's star is fading.
I have posted this on other threads.... I hope someone can submit this ( they have my permission to do so ... let's say it's my contribution to the McCain/Palin campaign ). I wish there was someone here on FR who can submit this to some Conservative News agency who is a good political artist....
Here's the idea for a political cartoon....
Imagine this.
This is in reference to the : swing vote voters, Independent voters, scorned women voters.
You have this scene... same house... same front yard... 2 pictures side by side...
On the left in the first picture of the same front yard .. you have this OBAMA 08 sign with arms waving with celebrations of joy, hope, confetti,,, streams of joy.
In the next picture on the right... 2 weeks later ... thump... like a brick wall ... The Palin effect ... effects of Obama/Biden's gaffes , the MSN smears on Palin effect ..
In the picture on the right, picture this ?
The Obama 08 sign is now laying next to the trash can ( in reference to Obama supporters trowing the USA flags in the trash,, and Obama's crude and rude remarks towards women ).
The Obama 08 sign is now laying next to the trash can waving a white flag in surrender.
Also in the picture you see a McCain/Palin sigh put up in the front yard now .
You have this HomeDepot/Mr. fix it type of guy walking back to the front porch of the house with a tool box, hammer, nails , screw driver in hand after finishing putting up the sigh knowing that Obama has already lost the election.
I hope some political conservative artist could use this and make a political cartoon.

“I think she’s getting herself ready to be called to the Vice President postion by Obama.”
IMHO...if that happens....she’ll be at the top of the ticket by Election Day...

I look at it this way. They fear another Reagan revolution.
Sarah represents the values of the heartland, mountain west and south. They hate that.
To: 2ndDivisionVet
The new survey also shows thatamong all four candidates runningPalin (at 33 percent) is seen as most likely to understand the problems of everyday life.Biased, leftist question. I don't need somebody at the government trying to understand the problems of everyday life. I got that handled. How about asking "Which candidate is seen as most likely to ram a cruise missle up Osama's a$$!"
