im assuming IA and NH are going blue this year.
I WONDER how much these close polls are about helping the local markets sell adds.
If the race is not lcose then there are no reasons to buy ads.
“McCain is going to win NH, a state where he performed well and Obama performed poorly in the primaries.”
McCain won NH in the primaries because Democratic voters from Mass crossed the border and voted for him (thus prompting Operation Chaos on the Republican side). something tells me those voters will stay home this time around...
NH went blue last election
Time just keeps tryin’ to prop Hussein up, don’t they? Last newstand I saw Hussein was on the cover.
Now wait a minute. In 2000, NH went for Bush in a year where he lost the popular vote. Yes, in 2004 NH went to Kerry -- barely -- but NH regarded him as a native son of sorts. Add to this the fact that McCain performed very well in NH in both 2000 and 2008 and Obama did not. Plus lots of Independents in NH, and nationally they are starting to break big for McCain.
NH is alot like NM. In all likelihood, whoever wins the popular vote will win NH as well by roughly the same margin.
And how, pray tell, did they accomplish that? NH has same-day registration, but a domicile in Massachusetts ain't gonna cut it.
Assuming McCain holds OH, FL, VA, and NV
(losing IA)
Then McCain needs to win only one of the following states:
NM, CO, MN, MI, WI, PA
Personally I think NM or WI are the most likely.
2. He will then need to take either one of Colorado or New Mexico to win. Although today there is a good poll out on New Mexico, I have doubts about whether he will end up taking that state. If it’s close, look for him to lose the state due to fraud, which seems to be a serious problem in NM every election.
Sounds familiar just like here in Missconsin where Bush was up 10,000 votes before elections were closing then lost by around 10,000 yep no surprise, this state is turning into another Illinoyd where liberal college students in Madison bragged about voting early & often.
“Since when is Virginia a swing state?”
Since Dems concocted their fantasies of how Obama would win.
