You can only burn white-hot for so long in this media environment. There is always blowback.

The truth is Barry Hussein has nothing to offer except empty rhetoric and promises and the fact that he is almost black.

But will Obama be able to bounce back? All the polls show McCain gaining, but can it last?

I was recently chatting with a top Obama adviser who was explaining in detail the campaign's ambitious 50-state strategy,... He left out the other 7 states!
There's your problem!
To: Schumpeter
Well if Obama was indeed a stock, his symbol would be PUTZ.

I always figured that his 19 month compaign was a mistake. People got to know him better than he wanted. Obama has to learn, maybe the hard way, people aren’t as stupid as he thinks they are.

Speculative bubbles have come in many different varieties: flowers, railway shares, Florida property, Beanie Babies, comic books, technology stocks, exurb McMansions. Does Candidate Obama qualify? Well, the candidate does sound a bit like a lot of the hot Internet companies back in the late 1990s. Not much of a track record. Lots of media hype. Parabolic ascent. And now a stomach-dropping decline.HA HA!

Obama doesn’t wear well, which is why he barely limped across the finish line after a string of losses to Hillary at the end. Thank god for the super delegates.

0bama’s one-hit wonder “I am the Hope & Change of the World” got overplayed on the radio, and now everyone is tired of hearing it. So he came out with new songs: “I’m a Greek god,” “My opponents are pigs and smell bad” and “Why are you picking on me?” These songs are not hitting high on the charts even though the “music critics” in the msm are saying great things about them.
On the other hand, Sarah Palin has the hot new hit “This Pitbull Wears Liptsick.” Even though the professional critics are panning it as trite, it’s going nuts on the charts. And, the best part; it’s not being overplayed on the radio. She has not appeared a lot on talking head shows, etc..., since the convention. Good. Keep the supply restricted, it will keep demand up and prolong the time at the top of the charts.

It’s all about character, and Obama’s character has gone missing, long ago.

There are liberals who vote democrat no matter what. There are people who are open to something else than the Republican brand even though they are in denial about what they are buying. McCain’s pick of Palin might save the WH from the democrats but it will be damned close if he does.

Sarah Palin is an executive of the highest competence. We trust her to make decisions that will help the citizens, not harm them.

One can only hope that McCain/Palin don’t peak before the election. This race is still too close.
