It’s a lot more now. There was a recent article saying that he takes the Acela. I forget the exact figure, but it’s something in the neighborhood of $200 per day, I think.

Maybe someone has the exact figure.

There was a link to OpenSecrets and Biden’s travel per diem, and there were 4,511 submitted for payment but not all were train rides.

I believe they pay for the round trip, not just 200 dollars one way.

Considering the fact that one of his sons is on the Amtrak Reform board, he probably never paid for the ticket to begin with!

The IRS might find that interesting. Ask your accountant or corporate travel administrator if you can do that - then time how long they laugh.

While working Americans have to pay $3.50 per gallon for gas to drive to work. Not to mention the over priced fares for Biden's favorite form of "mass transit" (trains & subways). And then there is the overhead for travel: auto insurance, maintenance, tags, tolls, emmissions inspection (Washington DC, Maryland, VA.). Poor hardworking Sen. Biden probably skates around all of those too.

hahahahaha..... saw the affirmative action campaign manager for Obamalamadingdong on Shepard Smith show mouthing the talking points.... lets see.

#1 She was for the bridge before she was against it.

#2 She can't be an advocate of change since she is getting paid to stay at HER OWN HOME at night as a per diem....

#3. Drilling will not solve our dependence on foreign oil and drilling will not help, cause it takes 5 years for the fuel to come online.

#5- The SAME policy as BUSH. blah, blah, blah...

so pathetic. When you put up the fact that Obama hasn't done anything or Biden is a DC troll with a lobbyist as a son... well then it's back to the talking points.

That's why Palin scares them. She just says what the facts are, relies on principles and doesn't have to obfuscate when answering questions with half truths.

When you lie, you tend to "uh, huh, uh-uh...blah, blah... it depends on what is, is."

Libs are like flies, whatever they don't eat they sh#t on.

That's over $902,000.00.

Let that sink in for a minute.

Once Biden thought he found a way to save on the ticket.

He met two young men, who explained that they bought one ticket between them. They then rode together in the bathroom, and handed out the one ticket when the conductor knocked on the door.

So Biden and his friend decided to do the same. The young men saw him, and at the right moment, one of them went over to the bathroom, and knocked on the door.

"Ticket!", he said.
