>>Dennis Miller

for the record he does have leftist views on some issues
(”I don’t object to Larry marrying Steve but if an Islamofascist wants to firebomb their wedding, then THAT I have a problem with”) though...

Is this the guy? Note that his bio has been pulled.

http://www.hollywood.com/celebrity/David_Birke/3118491

Could be. From whatever info is available on that site, this Birke guy is possibly an out-of-work screenplay writer whose work has been rejected over & over by Hollywood over the past few decades and then he moved on to TV and to radio to try to push his liberal smut, and was again rejected.

Putting my FBI profiler 'hat' on -- he's probably been dumped several times by women because he's 'dictatorial' and possessive. Lives with a cat and a goldfish, likes to drink Fresca and shave every other day of the week, is sickly because he doesn't eat sufficient products containing iron, likes to sit around in his apt. in his underwear with one hand on the computer keyboard and the other hand in.... er.... I won't go there. But, you get the idea.

A guy with tons of "Self-Aggrandisement".......

Pardon the caps, but i have to say it:

IF YOU DON’T LIKE WHAT YOU HEAR, CHANGE THE F’N STATION.

OR IS THAT THE ONLY STATION IN TOWN?

There, that felt good. Can we please find a Conservative to sue Air America (are they still on the air, anywhere?) on the same grounds?

>>Michael Medved’s show hosts an inordinate number of liberal guests and callers.

Other hosts have done the same. I still remember the day when Laura Ingraham had someone from “Lawyers Against The War” on.
She asked him nicely if we were better off with Saddam
gone. He refused to answer (Duck of the day!). She asked him again and the same thing happened. He hung up and when Laura’s producer tried to call him back, the man screamed
obscenities at him.

But she gave the lib a chance.

Not finding a publisher he can start his own paper or radio station (if he has the money) and today there is the low cost options offered by the internet.

What this country’s founding principles do not permit is for Mr. Berke to stifle other’s opinions which is exactly what Mr. Berke is trying to do through the courts.”

Anybody want to bet with me that this Plaintiff has NEVER signed the front of a paycheck in his entire life?

He knows ZERO about running a business.

“You forgot Air America...”

I thought it was already dead. Is it still broadcasting? Are the “talent” working for free?

I just paraphrased your post about Laura Ingraham’s liberal lawyer guest (your post on this thread) to a radio liberal blog here in DC, and someone replied to me like this:

“Hey Silvie, Laura Igraham asked a stupid question. Do you mean we lost 4,000 souls to take out Saddam? ..no! it was Weapons of mass destruction, remember?..It was only when Bush found out there was no weapons did he say we took out a dictator..we have those (dictators) all over the world. Laura Ingraham is an apologist for Bush-Cheney. She should have told us the war was a sham.she had all those Republican buddies. Silvie, stop writing in this blog. (9/9/08)”

What an idiot, eh?

yup! She is no apologist for Bush (and I could say the same for other hosts); when he’s wrong, she will say so.

I listen to two local AM radio stations, WTIC AM and WDRC AM in the greater Hartford, CT areas. The only time I do streaming online is for Mark Levin, WABC AM, NYC. I had to stop doing that for little over a month because of computer problems. The good news after a rollor costar month of having a down computer, I will be getting my computer back all fixed tommorrow. Looking forward to listening to TGO again. :)=^..^=

The lib below at least “gets it” with regard to the fact that the govt shouldn’t regulate programming/formats:

http://ltradio.blogspot.com/

“The suit will likely go nowhere. The FCC has consistently declined to interfere in programming decisions since the abolition of the Fairness Doctrine and does not require stations to balance programming.

“Personally, I have always held the belief that station owners should be free to do whatever format they want.”
