I might miss the mark but here is why I think the media will continue to swing wildly and miss in a search for scandals involving Sarah Palin.

Generally, she does not fit into a category of people who tend to get involved in these things. She was not a high ranking member of her party prior to her being a Governor. She was not in a position for someone to offer her a quid pro quo. (Possibly on the energy commission she could have been in a position to receive special consideration, however her actions showed that she would have flatly turned away any unethical offers.) She was not providing services to the Government or involved in contracts. In other words, she is what she appears to be. She is a good American who didn't like the nonsense at her local level, and didn't like it at the State level. She acted instead of complained, and she acted ethically.

If the MSM wants scandal, they need only look in their own back yards, but they want to go to Alaska instead. I believe they are only going to find fools gold.

We had 3, growing up. Two at the same time, they were total opposites but both were great.

That transcript is helpful. I did see I’m-a-mess on Cavuto, but had to shut it off because I cannot abide the way he speaks.

But his assessment is spot on.

“I’m very into saving the wolves. That does bother me, but there’s so much else to be excited about with Sarah.”

You want some wolves to save for your very own?

I’ll pack up some of the extras we’ve got running all the he%% over Montana and get ‘em to you. (Maybe I can beat the shipments from the other ten or fifteen states that are getting overrun with the [BLEEP]s.)

Only reason we haven’t been run off the homestead by that little enthusiasm is that the stock had been sold off before the feds got into that display of their ability to screw up everything they touch. Give me a dime for every head of deer, elk or ranch stock that have been slaughtered for food or just the pure he%% of it by wolves in the past da** year, and I could go really retire.

You want a wolf, get a picture. I see one, and I go get a gun.

/rant off/

Look around on that site, especially the menu on the left. Some interesting stuff explaining the problem up there. The counties I live and/or hunt in allow for multiple antlerless deer harvesting. Something unheard of in some other states. Time was here that if someone even spotted a deer track, folks would stand around and look at it. Times change. Different places have different problems.

Had a phone call for part of it, but I think it was a column that Novak wrote last week about how Michelle-ma-belle long ago nixed O’s choosing hillery as a VP pick. And how that will be the biggest nail in his political coffin.

Thanks for the link Roc. I so hoped there was good reason why such a gruesome activity such as aerial “hunting” be allowed. It's not really hunting as much as it is trapping. Trapping is much worse in my opinion because the animal suffers a slow and painful death. I wish populations that had to be reduced could be achieved by other means but Alaska is too big achieve the correct balance even with all the man power one could muster. I could never bear or wolf hunt, they are too close to pets too me but understand why it is necessary.

I didn’t say I want one. But I do love them.

You don’t... ok, that’s what makes the world go round.

Speaking of Korean, any inside info on Lil’ Kim?

Hopefully, he's dying a slow death from diabetes and heart disease.
